To be honest, not much information is given during the launch itself.

The call rate they give out for comparison is for YES to YES (same network), what about from YES to TM, MAXIS, DIGI and CELCOM (different networks).
Will it be the same rate as 9 cents per minute and 9 cents per SMS as well?

And the complicated charging method also makes a lot of people ask more questions.

Early adopters will be the guinea pigs as usual, wrong billing and extra charging will be common.

I will wait and see, new telco operator is like new airport, usually they will screw up initially.

Ok, correct me if i am wrong.

You have to install Yes Life software which is something like messenger or skype in order to make phone call and sms.

So you grab YES and TERMINATE your mobile phone account (maxis/digi/celcom/umobile) and THROW AWAY YOUR HANDPHONE.

Now each time you need to call someobody or sms somebody, you have to run to your computer/laptop to do so.  SO the next time you want to go outside, please remember to bring along your laptop for shopping.  Else you won't be able to receive call or sms.  Sound cool right? YES Culture.

ELSE you need to buy YTL YES Phone.  Just one model, and you go check it out yourself.

ELSE IF you don't want to do so.  You can have your YES at home or laptop.  Then you still subscribe maxis/digi/celcom on your phone etc my beloved iPhone.

HEY WAIT.  So what is the point having VOICE and SMS in YES again?  My phone is with me 24/7.  So i can have 9sen per min or sms?

My current Maxis Extra10 cost me 8sen/min and 1sen/sms!
Again people should know that in order for their smartphones to use this service, they need to buy their wifi device, which is as big as your iPhone and battery SAID TO BE 5 hours span.

Good luck in bringing such big device around and let's see which device runs out of battery first.  Oh, you still need your maxis/digi/celcom line in your smartphone because there YES is simless which only provide you wifi and softwares like skype.  You cannot use YES to replace your mobile services IN your phone for calling or sms at all.  You need the YES Life software to be installed in your LAPTOP/PC to make call and sms.
Is this correct based on what I read in the internet?  It just sound NOT RIGHT.  LoL.

They encourage you to buy their YES BUZZ Phone to make voice call instead of using your own laptop or using the YES HUDDLE to call using smartphone over wifi.

not sure whether u can get a huddle and connect it to ur iphone 4 to online, but for sure iphone 4 alone can't use their voice service

bcoz yes4g is based on wimax, iphone 4 based on gsm, comparison as below :

iphone 4
htc evo 4g (as example. yes4g only carry samsung buzz as their wimax phone currently )
yes4g is operating at 2.3ghz

iPhone is a multimode device which support both GSM and 3G. It will fallback to GSM when there is no 3G.

HTC Evo 4G is a multimode device which support both CDMA and WiMAX. It will fallback to CDMA when t here is no WiMAX.

YES Buzz is a single mode device which only support WiMAX (if not mistaken). That's why you won't able to use voice when you are out of coverage.

There is not much information given on the YES Buzz, there is no technical specification as well.

There is also no mention whether YES signed any MVNO agreement with any local telco operator to switch to GSM/3G when the user moves out of YES coverage. That's what U Mobile did when they first startup.
