I also come back from the launch just now.

I actually show their technical guy that their internal pages cannot be loaded even on their PCs during the launch. He admitted that the servers are overloaded and he can't do much about it.

I enquire why all the access point at the launch are all pointing to IP range of 124.xxx.xxx.xxx and he said that how they configure it. It seems their servers are hosted in oversea and their pipe couldn't sustain the traffic volume during the launch.

I wonder if their dongle can work with any of those 3G wireless router. If not then the next option is to get the hubble. However they couldn't tell me at what speed the WLAN are operating at.

The gateway is only available in Dec but the problem for me is that it only has one LAN port. It forces every machine to use WLAN to connect to it instead of a wire connection.

I guess I will wait for other service provider to review their price before I change my data plan.

While waiting for the link to load, I was looking at the URL displayed at the botton of the browser and it doesn't look familiar to me. Now that I am at home I took a peek at their page source and noticed they use eXo Platform for their portal and ECM. I wonder if this platform could be the source of the slowness.

I am not familiar with eXo Platform so I don't know how robust is it in handling the kind of traffic everyone is throwing at it like just now.
