if 2 revolver = 30% spell vamp
due t karthus Defile is an AoE, SV drop 1/3. so only 10%.

yea gunblade is expensive with its hybrid stat that doesn't really contribute much to karth total AP. but dont forget its unique active...300 magic dmg + 700 range 3 sec 50% slow.

that match spell vamp was impromtu since i was focused in each team fight n die. in that match karth was a trillionaire LOL bought GA, die oso from Ryze combo then comes the spell vamp idea...only look at best spell vamp item. so comes the gunblade + revolver. GG after that that time didnt even know about 1/3 penalties for AoE spells. if not i'll get another AA

i want to see what happen if a yi got 2 gunblade, 1 Nashor, 1 IE, 2 Phantom Dancer. All expensive item, but must get CDR runes + Def/Utility masteries T_T

eh if you have 2 hextech and you use one of them

dunno..haha. didnt manage to get 2 gunblade probably it is. same as other unique imho

if you have archangel and gunblade.. plus total stack of AP is damn high.. u will leech enough hp to heal you.. like super fast each time u cast spells to do damage.

however, it is advisable to have some hp always... rod of ages and rylai is a good combo to stack.

Almost any Champ in LoL can be imba in the right hands.

AP Yi is only viable if the enemy has no stun, mega squishy or plain nubs.
Cause all AP Yi can do is Alpha in for some nice AP dmg, dive and tank heal like no tomorrow (loving the 1k++ heals)

Saw a few post on Kat play style.
Since I'm Kat addict, heres my say:
First, I do not recommend Kat for anyone that play passively (non-aggro), slow reaction or hav no balls.
She must be played like a hardcore terrorist from start to mid if you ever dream of doing well (not getting roflstomped) from mid game onwards.
Going full AD or AP is useless now cause of the new patch that makes her Hyrbid hax!
She benefits insanely with AP & AD, and not just 1 alone.
A lot of people ignore how well spellvamp works on manaless champs & Kat truly owns with it.

Heres my built, only for the hardcore:
1) Shoe > Sorc Shoe
2) Guinsoo Rageblade (depends how well you farm in start)
3) Hextech Revolver > Will of Ancients
4) Hextech Revolver > Gunblade
5) Abyssal Scepter
6) Anything that helps you kill faster or survive longer (situational)
Suggestions: Rylai (if you need slow & HP) or Angel/Force of Nature/ Banshee (for MR & anti disable) or Void/Zhonya/Gunblade (more AP dmg) or Randuin (Armor + Slow) or Snowballs.

This makes ur ulti spell vamp for (without 6th item)
(estimate + pots) AD Bonus= 130 & AP= 340
24 + 60 + 71.50 + 102 = 257.5 per dagger
257.5 x 30 (3 targets, 10 dagger each) = 7725 dmg!!!!
257.5 x 13.2% spellvamp = 33.99 hp per dagger
33.99 x 30 (3 champs, 10 dagger each) = 1019.7 hp!!!!

This is just for ulti and not taking into account BBlade & Shunpo.
Also consider the cooldown refresh that lets you spam during group fights...
With this, she can ignore getting HP to an extend due to spellvamp but still consider HP if u really need to tank abit.

Meh gonna miss the disco disc range after gayrena patched it up

Thanks for clarifying that hybrid build is the way to play Kat. I have tried your build and its awesome. Thou i feed a little but i managed to get all the items up til gunblade and she owned others easily. Spell vamps rocks!

However, if you feel you need the HP to tank, you can jump to Rylais or Banshee and ignore going for AD/AP.
This need happens when enemy has too many DPS and they are attracted to you like bee to honey lolx...
Haunting Guise is also good if you want to HP and still get some AP & Mag Pen.
Remember to time your Shunpo as it is very good for escaping also.
Shunpo can be used on any ally unit (minion, wards, shrooms, shaco's box, etc.)
Combining with Killer Instinct, even Shunpo to ally grants u the dmg reduction.
Spellvamp is fun but remember that DPS burst will still kill you as you can't vamp in time
(eg. Malzahar, Ryze or Veigar's insta kill combo)

yep..if all of them focus on me in team fight. its ant bite only XD unless some burst come out n dang die T_T at least 2-3 of them will die from ult after that squishy champ wont last more than 4 sec under Defile


now i realize my range champ all nub cuz of my play style. karth is an exception i'm better at close range champ.

vlad spell vamp is GG. seen him once only

yep2..AP yi is for fun. but if can execute Q > Auto attack > W/Zhonya > AA > R > AA > Q > AA > W/Zhonya > Q > AA ... properly, no chance. stun n burst hurt AP Yi T_T

Your so right! They are sooo attracted to me. Even when I'm the last to jump in the battle, most of them will still try to aim me. So sometimes i have to switch from Abyssal Scepter to Banshee and if its still hard to survive i have to pump health with Rylai Scepter or if its not enough i really have to go for warmog's.

But with more practice i believe i can minimize my death spree.

Most AP champs fail at auto attack unless they have Lichbane lolx...

Played Kat against another Kat with Cat skin last nite.
Sad to see ppl buy skin for their champ but fail at playing the champs well.
She stacked 3 Gunblades against my built mentioned above & she got owned big time.
Lack of variety always get owned

Chalice works on any champ that has a spam skill like Gangplank or Pantheon.
But for 890, I rather go for Phil Stone as it would have returned ur investments by 25 to 30 min of the game.
5 gold per 10 sec items are greatly underutilized by players.
Love when my team mate questions by built with gold items but after a while, my items outclass them greatly
Works great on Arch Angel or RoA stackers too.
Polish your timing, you will own them all with ease.
In lvl 30 normal games, it is normal for Kat to have quite a few deaths but the kills should be more.
3 kills to 1 death ratio should be your aim.
Low or 0 death rarely happens unless enemies r nubs or you have great tanks like Shen, Amumu or Rammus
Warmogs is good but it gives only HP and regen, which doesnt help too much.
Getting MR or Armor is better and those items also grant multi function (Banshee, Angel, Randuin, etc)
You can try Sunfire if enemy has alot of Melees.
Sunfire on Kat will surely make your team rofl at you but it works somehow
