A question here, my 7G is using MX black Switches then actuate force is 60g, think most of here know this.
For doing double tap or triple tap, is that means if I press down the key for 60g and oscillate between 59g and 60g, then will keep on register the keystroke? (of cause nobody can keep apply actuate force of 59g and 60g ^^)
*
not sure if i get what u mean, i believe double tapping will not be so close like 59~60g. when gaming.
and ya if u do that, i believe it will keep register the key.
like i double tap A. a....a....a....a....a....a...a....a....a....a
what u did will result
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

the quality looks superb. Very thick.

Are those abs or pbt biggrin.gif ?
I like the X%&#! keycap. How much did you pay for it ?
If you want, i would trade you the Geekhack doubleshot for it.
*
abs i assume.
because two shot molded wont work with PBT.
PBT only sublime.
erm
no thanks for the geekhack doubleshot.
they look very ugly tongue.gif big ass font centered legend = way too old school for me. sorry tongue.gif tongue.gif

considering getting a mechanical keyboard for typing (comp science) and gaming (sc2 especially where my current cheapo keyboard been affecting my apm a tonne especially ghosting issues))...
so i think i would be deciding between razer blackwidow vs SS 6gv2...
which would u guys recommend...

blackwidow is only up to 6nkeys but i think its more than enuff rite (the 6gv2 have unlimited when it is connected via ps/2)...
pretty much concerned with the nkro issue since i am a sc2 player...
and i am tempted by the extra macro keys...
though i am pretty lost about the blue (though razer said they innovated from standard blue) vs black and had no experiences wit either...

thanks...

ps: i do type kinda hard since been using crappy keyboards for quite some time >.<
*
razer will be a good choice for you.
SCII wont use more then 6 keys in 1 time.
so you don have to worry about.

but, if you never use mech kb before,
black wont be an issue for you at all even you doesn't type much.
i suggest you go try both, and then decide which one to buy.

get a regular wrist rest from 3M, or Filco leather if you can afford.
keyboard go with 6Gv2, no need 7G,
7G's wrist rest is already fix, you cant move it, is fixed in a position.
and it is just a plastic.

pretty much decided on what i would be getting depending on my budget (hw much i can saved up)
*
my best suggestion will be brown switches, if you type a lot and SCII a lot.

fruitdealer use filco brown biggrin.gif

well. i planning to purchase one keyboard for traveling purchase, mostly it would be this Ducky keyboard that i will be getting this few days later.

for for keyboard weight this heavy, it's design for heavy usage because the back plate is steel, which is not PCB or anything so it's kinda heavy, but i have to compliment that this keyboard can receive some punishment and abusement and still survive.
*
don't worry, ducky use aluminum metal plate which is very light compare to filco size to size,
did you order the 1087 or the full size?
