Green camp recently announced the GTX560, a fully enabled GF114 chip with higher clocks
6870 will have a real competitor indeed in this brows.gif

QUOTE(DarkSilver @ Nov 15 2010, 04:42 PM)
Crysis and Crysis Warhead are not very well optimized.
Their Graphics Quality are very good, but now a day, there's a lot of games have similar or even better graphic quality too. However, they can be easily max out by any Graphic Card. Because, they're being optimized well by the manufacturers.

That's why Crysis 2 is lighter than Crysis or Crysis Warhead but have better graphics quality.

despite every rumour on review sites and even crytek saying that crysis 2 will have a lower system requirements, i highly doubt that it will play smoothly on machines running HD 4870/GTX 260/GTX 280
my opinion is that to play on full HD 1080p with all max settings would require at least a HD 5850, even then it would probably be like 30-50 fps++

my 2 cents

based on reviews, what i can say is HD 6970 is definitely not worth the upgrade from HD 5870 IMO
