Yeah I just did some reading, and its true i found out that on benchmark the 6870 is slightly higher than 5850 result.
And yes this is my XFX5850 3dmarkVantage result on stock clock:
I just realize if 6870 has really high GPU clock @900 !! so just for fun i set my 5850 both gpu and memory clock to the same clock as your 6870 and run the benchmark again:
so conclusion so far, 6870 stock is sightly higher than 5850 on benchmark. But in the game is different story, ask someone else to test it lol.
It's true bro. nod.gif ..more over...HD6870 is not OC friendly AFAIK (based on some readin' some people may only manage to OC HD6870 to 930Mhz)...
since i'm not OC person so i dont really care... whistling.gif

dat chart is from techpowerup.
i love it dat techpoweup shows result for each resolution coz frankly speaking, if u're buying 6870 or 5850, u're aleady owning a >1680*1050 resolution monitor.

my gc is 4870..... cry.gif

score a wee bit over 10k in vantage, P.
