I got some random dark spot (~0.5sec) while I play DotA. It's like some flickering black spot.
No laggy, fps ~60. Never happen before on my old rig. Any HD6-series card here having this problem? QUOTE OS - Win7 64bit Driver - 10.10 This post has been edited by Kr0ll3R: Dec 16 2010, 08:15 PM |

QUOTE(dupont200 @ Dec 21 2010, 12:58 PM) On load it consumes around ~250Watts.Run should be no problem but u putting heavy stress on ur PSU. In the end, it could damage some of ur pc components (worst case). Get a true power PSU of minimum 500W. |

QUOTE(techmostwanted @ Dec 30 2010, 10:51 PM) did any new 6XXX series owner ; 6850, 6870, 6950, 6970 having problem with older games? Like warcraft III? graphic glitches and corrupt especially in menu. I want some comments else im taking my 6870 to RMA. QUOTE(Lacus @ Dec 31 2010, 12:17 AM) YESH, finally a reply on this. I tot it's just me. I posted here a few weeks go, asking any1 having this issue but no reply.Guess it's the driver problem that causes this? On my old rig, no problem. Smooth with avg fps 60. I tot the GC too powerful to handle such an old game Oh ya, with my old rig, I get avg 60fps but I'm having the same fps with my new rig also. Tot will get bit higher like 65-68fps. Max for War3 is 60fps? This post has been edited by Kr0ll3R: Dec 31 2010, 04:35 AM |

QUOTE(8tvt @ Dec 31 2010, 11:27 AM) it should that range.. not like FPS games which is most of the time benefit from higher fps.. Let's say I enable 4xAA and set all to high settings, for sure the fps will be around 30-35fps. (GPU stress)limiting the fps will not strain the gpu.. save power, less heat and maybe prolong the gpu life span.. so highest is not always better.. -- Lower FPS, save power? If medium settings, fps around 60-65fps. (GPU less stress) -- High FPS, waste power? well, I may be wrong but just to voice up. |

QUOTE(8tvt @ Dec 31 2010, 09:39 PM) so now u saying better get a proper GPU so that will not stress the GPU much and save power, etc, etc*cheapskate GPU*? well, how i wish every1 rich like u. QUOTE u should look the previous comments what is all about not just base on merely statement.. that's referring the new gpu with the old game which is no problem to play.. huh? QUOTE better think before voice it out. If u feel hurt about it, don't reply my post. This post has been edited by Kr0ll3R: Dec 31 2010, 10:11 PM |

QUOTE(DarkSilver @ Dec 31 2010, 10:50 PM) So, there's V-Sync. nono, I think there's a misunderstanding here.We can't define how much power have saved or temperature is going with FPS, dear Kr0ll3R. But, we can tell by V-Sync sometime. Or maybe AVR to read the power consumption. Also, it's depending on the games you're playing too. I just asking why my War3 fps same with my old rig. That is all. Then someone bring up that lesser fps is better = save power, etc etc. |

QUOTE(techmostwanted @ Jan 1 2011, 04:56 PM) Two questions: So how do u fixed it? or wait the new driver release? yup, at least now nothing can be done. . .just wait till next driver. And does it usually happened on new graphic cards, regardless of nvidia or ATI/AMD? I mean this issue of flickering, glitches, corrupts on graphic...etc. Now sure this issue causes by new GC or AMD 6000 series only. |
