my darkyy's rom just suck my SGS's blood dry...huhuhu

no need to root/flash...just download the apps from market and download maps from malfreemaps forum..search it from google because i forgot the link

50% percent half a day...even though i on flight mode..after playing angry birds for 2 levels..

guys..want to check with you guys...how to restore back product code to originals one..i'm flashed to darkyy's and it's changed my product code to KOR..but when i checked with spare parts apps..there is backup for my previous product code...i'm totally forgot to backup it when i change to new rom..haha..but my imei is intact..

actually it's quite smooth compare to previous FW...but ofkos people cannot stand the way things should be..hehehe..

like having an EVO but still want to upgrade their turbo boost output...hehehe..

ofkos there will be future newer version that will improve the froyo official performance...like eclair from jf4 to jg4..my 2cents

it's quite complicated tho'..want to ask...if we flash back to original firmware..does it change back the product code?...eg. from KOR to XME

if ur from darkyy's..then it should be no problem...

1. create folder "disable lagfix" in the voodoo folder..to disable it...
2. factory reset..it is recommended but not necessary.
3. put CWM that have been rename to update.zip and Doc's ROM JPA/JPO into your internal sd card.
4. reboot properly
5. boot into recovery mode to install CWM(same method as darkyy's step)
6. the rest follow the instruction as given in xda (should be the same as darkyy's step)

if you enable to flash darkyy's rom then you should be able to flash to Doc's rom,,pls read...hope this help

it's happened to me twice..i think your sgs bootloader is partial corrupted...in-case u don't or don't know to flash yourself..just bring it to service centre to flash back..

or if you can reboot into recovery mode..do a factory reset...but it will wipe all your data...i think there is factory reset in setting if i'm not mistaken

yes..if your want to add-on some themes..just download it at same page your dwnld the rom and flash it using CWM method...the same method to flash the rom

i'm exactly from darkyy's too...cannot tahan isap battery..i changed to doc's yesterday...battery improve alot...now tonight want to change to ver7.6..haha..

if you removed the base apps...e.g samsung apps...when you do the factory reset..the phone will restore it back to original state with base apps in it...then your phone will stuck at searching the base apps that you already remove... then..you'll be sweating all over...hahah

no need i think as long you already backup your data with third party apps.. e.g titanium

i'm not familiar with cwm and nandroid backup...just use titanium backup or mybackup pro apps...either one..maybe forumers here have been used the cwm/nandroid backup on their phone...
