QUOTE(llk @ Nov 5 2010, 08:07 AM) I think this is quite disappointed jpa & jpo were official froyo released since both fw still need lagfix to make the sgs running smoothly. actually it's quite smooth compare to previous FW...but ofkos people cannot stand the way things should be..hehehe..like having an EVO but still want to upgrade their turbo boost output...hehehe.. ofkos there will be future newer version that will improve the froyo official performance...like eclair from jf4 to jg4..my 2cents |

QUOTE(skydrake @ Nov 5 2010, 07:29 PM) thank you for replying. but i still blur on my situation. actually i m on eclair base then i upgrade it to darkyy rom, now i wan to jump into doc JPA/JPO.. i m not sure how to follow the instruction on doc page. or can i just factory reset it and goes in recovery mode to run the updates.zip? blur @@!! if ur from darkyy's..then it should be no problem...1. create folder "disable lagfix" in the voodoo folder..to disable it... 2. factory reset..it is recommended but not necessary. 3. put CWM that have been rename to update.zip and Doc's ROM JPA/JPO into your internal sd card. 4. reboot properly 5. boot into recovery mode to install CWM(same method as darkyy's step) 6. the rest follow the instruction as given in xda (should be the same as darkyy's step) if you enable to flash darkyy's rom then you should be able to flash to Doc's rom,,pls read...hope this help Added on November 5, 2010, 7:41 pm QUOTE(areankim @ Nov 5 2010, 07:36 PM) csc = carrier service code...other than that i don't...hehehe..sorry not too much helpThis post has been edited by Bap3: Nov 5 2010, 07:41 PM |

QUOTE(kennobi @ Nov 5 2010, 10:26 PM) Hi all Sifus, it's happened to me twice..i think your sgs bootloader is partial corrupted...in-case u don't or don't know to flash yourself..just bring it to service centre to flash back..Please help, Not sure what happen to my Galaxy S. Its on Stock rom and no lagfix. It seems to unable to reboot properly. Every time it reboots or I start the phone it seems to be rebooting untill maybe 80-90 percent then it will switch off and reboot again but without going to the Galaxy S screen it just display the usual clock at bottom screen and loads the top bar once nearly complete it turn off the screen then when on the screen pressing the menu button the loops continue. Its already more then 5 time since 7pm today or if you can reboot into recovery mode..do a factory reset...but it will wipe all your data...i think there is factory reset in setting if i'm not mistaken |

QUOTE(GreenGoat @ Nov 6 2010, 09:38 PM) yeah.. this morning i unplugged for 1 hour n batt falls to 97% without any activities! huhu if you removed the base apps...e.g samsung apps...when you do the factory reset..the phone will restore it back to original state with base apps in it...then your phone will stuck at searching the base apps that you already remove... btw.. on ADVICE part : "Do not factory reset phone if you have removed any apps from the base rom. If you want to factory reset, flash the base rom before again if you made any changes" what does this mean? |

QUOTE(ken2291 @ Nov 6 2010, 09:41 PM) no need i think as long you already backup your data with third party apps.. e.g titaniumi'm not familiar with cwm and nandroid backup...just use titanium backup or mybackup pro apps...either one..maybe forumers here have been used the cwm/nandroid backup on their phone... Added on November 6, 2010, 9:54 pm QUOTE(areankim @ Nov 6 2010, 09:52 PM) yes..and u can upgrade it whenever u want it...This post has been edited by Bap3: Nov 6 2010, 09:54 PM |
