i don't think samsung can do anything to overcome the lag issue, if they can they already did it months ago. But one thing we cannot deny is the stability of the phone much improved compared with the initial leaked froyos months ago which so much forced closes happened.

Doc new tuned Froyo JPA/JPO V7.6 online, time to flash again

I never compare between stock & modded rom, however i feel same only, i charge every night.

The experience is very good, the rom very smooth, no force close at all, now v7.6 out, i'm flashing right now.
Although i have installed whatsapp but rarely use it, the lag you mentioned is it when the open the application? My answer is quite fast, no stuck or whatsoever.

I believe coming soon we will be very busy flashing modded roms since official Froyo is starting rolled out, high possible Doc will released modded HK Froyo JPD, he mentioned that JPD is faster than the other 2.

Yes, but you must have 2e recovery flashed in your phone.

Hi bro, if you like to play 3D games in your phone, i can say SGS is definately suit you, i personally try out my friend's Desire, even play the favorate game Angry Birds, i felt like slightly slow motion when the bird flying, think what other games like Need for Speed, Asphalt 5, Sandstorm etc Desire can performed (although it is a great phone too in other aspect).

I just try GPS locking speed twice by using GPS navigation sw called Ndrive, it can locked around 5-6 seconds, however i haven't try the actual accuracy by driving, probably will try it on Monday when go to office from my house.

Bro, download the modem zip file from Doc thread, boot into cwm recovery, install that modem zip file, that's all.

Btw, try both Papago X5 & Ndrive this morning to work nearby KLCC, the accuracy of the GPS really disappointed I think have to accept the fact.

Just remembered they said Nexus 2 which in rumous to be made by Samsung have GPS hardware problem same as SGS, that's why they delay the launch date, i think it is true that SGS have faulty GPS hardware.

No need so troublesome, just download the file called CF-Root-JPx-vX.X.tar from here, flash it by using ODIN, you will get back recovery 2e. BTW the file i choose was CF-Root-JP6-v1.2-Busybox-1.17.1.zip., so far no problem whatever rom/kernal i flashed.

Use SystemApp Remover to remove adw launcher.
