new XPS 15:
memory: this is system is using Intel HM57 Express Chipset, so is DD3. for more detail about memory/channel, google it, it's standard. resolution: beside 1366x768, there is 1920x1080 offer too soon, no worried. just like previous Studio, Studio XPS.

if limited budget, for me. I will cut down prc to i5. reason: most of game not really able to utility quad core. unless you're doing video rendering or converting big video. I will ignore blu-ray drive. 4xx+299 budget and top up little bit to get 3years warranty is highly recommended. this is xps, if inspiron i might forgot it.

QUOTE(makubexong @ Nov 2 2010, 11:55 PM) djlah.. ur xps 15 is run i5 or i7? so far got any bad comments on it? let say if i use the laptop for photo editing softwares, autocad software, surf net, movie, will the i5 laptop capable to run smooth? because something i open photoshop, lightroom , and few web pages,.. my laptop will lag abit.. i dont really gaming, just sometime play dota wif frens... if i pick xps15, i should take 3 years warranty or, extend annually? the 3 years warranty is abit expensive.. if you buy the extend warranty afterward, more more expensive than when you buy system together.
