From my experience, I would say that most ACCA new graduates are better than either Melbourne or Monash Commerce grads. I reckon that it has more to do with the syllabus and the marking system.
Having a degree and a qualification is two different thing.
If you wanna compare, then do this:
Monash, Melbourne Uni Commerce grads vs UTAR, Sunway, UCSI bachelor of business, accounting grads
OR
Monash, Melb UNi commerce grad with CA, (or CPA, ACCA) vs UTAR, Sunway,UCSI commerce grads with ACCA,( or CIMA, MICPA )
Then you compare.
And the result for local preference may not be the same in an international scope.
Marking is not an issue. as the distinction falls on quota,
there's quota for Pass-rate on Professional boards, there's aggregate scaling in University studies, but both are
totally different things.
Sylabus-wise is also very optional as different Uni provide courses that have different coverage of professional sylabus, hence exemption is case by case basis on each Uni.
