go the dell website. under right hand side there got 1 "order status".

click into it and fill in the Internet reference number which u can get it from ur acknowledgement email.

fill in ur email address. then click submit. then u can see ur estimated delivery date from there smile.gif

btw u only can see ur estimate delivery date 3-5 days after ur order been received. but u can see your order status there. biggrin.gif

Received my xps 15 already biggrin.gif

Pros:
-beautiful screen , VERY beautiful!
-1366*768 is sweet enough for me
-temp is acceptable. when normal usage max 50C, when gaming max 70C(i using coolermaster notepal and evecool fairy, testing game is cod7 )
-speed is awesome
-great gaming experience (better than my old 8600m GT)
-beautiful backlight keyboard (automatic off if u dint touch the keyboard, sweet!)
-great and loud speaker with subwoofer
-touchpad is good with multitouch and smooth
-only HDMI , is ok for me since my acer 24" using that cable smile.gif
-many multimedia function key which is sweet! (can change tthe setting from the shourtcut key on the laptop, thanks schwarzschild for the solution!)

Bads:
-design is wierd but acceptable
-too many dell software makes start up slow~ ( i already uninstall most of them )
-battery life not yet try

conclusion:
no regret getting it. it is a great laptop!

QUOTE(Mr.Docter @ Nov 19 2010, 04:29 AM)
nice quick review lengnui89!

regarding F1-12 button, maybe the next BIOS gonna fix that. it sound weird, to be honest rclxub.gif

and for preinstalled softwares, its common for first hand laptop. just simply uninstall the not-necessary program and optimized your startup using third-party freeware like Ccleaner.
*
can change 1, solution provided by bro schwarzschild, now no more pressing Fn to use F1-F13! biggrin.gif

QUOTE(lee_what2004 @ Nov 19 2010, 07:34 AM)
@lengnui89, check inside BIOS, usually got the option to change the multimedia key to function key and vice versa...
*
not inside the bios but at the touch shortcut screen there. really can change 1 biggrin.gif

QUOTE(schwarzschild @ Nov 19 2010, 08:59 AM)
@lengnui89, just open windows mobility center to change the Fn key behaviour. To access it, simply press the shorcut button over the touch panel over the right top of the keyboard, the place where you can c Waves Maxx Audio thing. If not sure about where to look for it, go to start, type windows mobility center and search for it. You don't need to access BIOS to change Fn key behavior smile.gif
