QUOTE(thieflord @ Dec 6 2010, 09:25 PM) wonder why people pay so much for laptop bags.. get a cheapskate schoolbag (mine is around rm 45 polo brand) it fits 17" laptops in the main compartment and the cooler can put at the back compartment.. but heavy~ actually those better bag has thicker layer inside which can protect ur lappy better and somemore when ur carry ur backpack..it is more comfortable becoz it coz some cushion inside it....and some of them looks good on it... or do a little bit of custom sewing.. i sewn a piece of cloth (its actually 6layers of cloth sewn together) right at the middle of the main compartment.. that way i can hav both the cooler n laptop in the same compartment without the cooler scratching my laptop.. i have inspiron 15R btw edit: its a north face bag, rm 75 (mountain climbing bag) the polo 1 is for my netbook btw i din buy any lappy bag as the xps comes with a decent belkin backpack This post has been edited by vernon91: Dec 6 2010, 09:40 PM |

QUOTE(Casperwinde @ Dec 7 2010, 11:51 AM) lolz...too complicated and many steps...so use cpu to render ba DXVA will use ur GPU to play and decode.....U will find it very useful and significant result especially on 1080p or Full Hd movie because these movie required a lot of cpu power to decode them...therefore u will see ur cpu usage quite high probably 40 to 50% depends....If u run them on DXVA instead...ur CPU usage probably close to 5%..will DXVA more clear or better quality? The quality depends on the quality of the video u downloaded or played Added on December 7, 2010, 1:46 pm QUOTE(JasonMania @ Dec 7 2010, 10:35 AM) sorry to hear you guys still have to wait. all i can say is that the speaker on this XPS is amazingly good..probably the best speaker so far u can find among laptops for the time being...but trust me it will worth the wait , this laptop is amazing , specially the screen and the sound quality. QUOTE(rexson521 @ Dec 8 2010, 04:03 PM) I plan to buy a Dell XPS 15, i did a lot of research online, reading reviews on the website n mostly they rated the product quite high with a little flaws such as weight, design n so on which i m OK with it. But when i went to town n ask some of the salesman of PC shop, he said xps 15 get overheat and can burn easily, since xps 15 available in Malaysia, he sold out 3 units n all three units burned just approximately in 1 month time as xps 15 launched here around end of October 2010, n i asked him during end of November 2010. So I would like to find out from those u already bought it can tell me is xps 15 really get overheat easily. I know it depends on the activity use on the xps 15, so i would assume that i use it for everything, surfing web, watch movie, gaming, assignments n so on... would these activities lead to overheat easily? im using it so far idle temp around 45 to 50..normal load watching movie & surfing plus music palyer around 55++......gaming 70++....i have no issue on heat problem..probably they all playing intensive gaming without any cooler... yes as T.J said running intensive software does makes the laptop hot.....but u nid to monitor ur temp urself and use a cooler pad it helps a lot....
