QUOTE(jimmy.soo @ Jan 10 2011, 12:24 AM) the purpose of having LED daytime running light is to have it on automatically during daytime, not blinding others with its full brightness during night time... OR you can install the less bright LED the full brightness can really blind other drivers during night time if its not dimmed or switched off hope you guys understand that =) |

QUOTE(titan-x @ Jan 15 2011, 01:29 PM) thanks for the info From what I understand the guy installed the buffer for me last time told me that he put the buffer in the middle cause don't want the rubber to knock the top.. So if you put the buffer over the top part and not middle when you go over bump it'll shorten Yr buffer shelf life and damage your suspension(maybe?) so yeah.. actually what i'm trying to say is using one buffer per spring... any different ka between install at upper side of spring and lower side of spring? top side: = <-- buffer = || O <-- tyre lower side: || <-- spring || = O <-- tyre hahaha... sorry i'm no good in explaining... perhaps above 'illustration' can describe better? One thing I don't like about the buffer is when I go over bump FAST..I can hear this "TOOP" sound..very heartaching sound And anyways know where to touch up our rims? I accidently scatched the edge of the rims when coming out frm carpark This post has been edited by seanoys: Jan 15 2011, 03:42 PM |

QUOTE(vaio pavilion @ Jan 19 2011, 08:49 AM) A silly question maybe. Method 2..wanna let the airbag light to go off first before I start it..haha..go complain to SC..some wiring lose at your brakeHow do you start your car guys? i mean SX. 1) press break and push start button directly. 2) push start button twice (starting battery 1st) wait all the signal light off then press break and push start button to start. 1 or 2? I have a problem. if i start by method 1, i can start easily no problem. if i start by method 2, sometimes i will encounter "press break" signal. althogh i already pressed! and i can feel that the break is jam. not always but it did happened few times... all bros! please help~~~~~!!!!!!!! |

QUOTE(transforter @ Jan 20 2011, 10:32 AM) 1st batch Forte is not perfect product wf several common issues: mostly unwanted noise, from: ac compresor*, engine knocking, side mirror wind*, rattling, front suspension knocking*, catalytic convertor loose*. *happens on my unit. so it cn b a 'noisy' car bt depend on ur luck. izit a gud car? yes if minus d abov issues. worth buying? of cz yes bt hv2 tolerate a bit inconsistent quality. b fair, aftrall it's >20k cheaper thn same cat. rivals. it mk sense if u cn gt 2nd batch f.lift Forte. gud luck! Omg my car has this wind noise on the right side mirror and it's dam annoying!! I went to SC in glenmerie and they told me it's normal!! And I asked why my left mirror no sound? Then they say got but cannot hear..Any sifu can help me? |

QUOTE(gagilang @ Jan 22 2011, 09:18 AM) I thought by pressing the push start button for 10 secs still can start the engine without stepping down the brake pedal? Haha I feel you man.. Nvm lar like what they say here..we r pioneers.. Hahaha.. Anyways the handbrake is normal..new car they don't adjust so tight..if you want to make it tighther you goto SC and ask them to tighten it for you..one click can stop the car Anyway, i'm frustrated just like some of the forte owners here cuz do not expect the FL version launch so earlier. I just got mine for 1 month and being outdated liao.. 6-speed is tempting but I doubt of the quality for Kia Technology. Honda 6spd gearbox spoilt will costs a big bomb, just imagine if Forte 6 spd spoilt (touch wood), it will cost a nuclear as we all known spare parts are hard to find in Msia and expensive too.. And these is the way i comfort and psycho myself.. Future FL Forte might not be able to get cars for CNY, wait for another year to celebrate with forte bah.. wakaka.. Plum is too sour... No offense ya.. Just BS here.. Sorry for a question, anyone here ever face with a problem with your handbrake? I need to pull to the max then i can station my car, even one level lower the car is still reverse while stopping at a slope. Is it normal? Sifus here pls advice. Thanks in advance.. |
