i wonder if any of the new 1.6 FL EX owners (with 16" sport oem rims) want to upgrade to 17" oem rims and need a partner to swap?

some might ask why dont i just buy a lighter 17" rims?

because i feel its too early to buy a new rims.my rims is still in good condition.on the other hand..lightness of the rims is not my concern.i can still live with the current fc and pick up..i want comfort since the place where i live has very bad road..using 17" rims is really a heartache..

and why dont i buy a new 16" rims instead of swapping with others?

because, by buying a new rims with different size, i have to buy new tyres too..i want to avoid that, since as i said my tyre is still ok..plus, if i buy new 16" rims, my spare wheel will remain 17" which is not very practical.

having said that..im wondering if any of the FL EX owners are thinking to upsizing their rims and swapping (including the spare).that way we wont have to buy a new set of tyres and, we also can have spare tyre with same size.

let me know.thanks

Sallehsi,

thanx 4 d link...it was helpful...but does that same applies to d 2.0SX model as well since both engines r different...btw how fast were u doing when u were cornering? or issit possible that i am not used 2 forte sensitive steering? sad.gif

Hi LCCW,

thanx 4 d information...do u have her contact number btw?
also, do u know of any promotion thats running with d Forte FL with b/kit?
*
both should be the same..

how fast?..how about 110km/h at the karak hi way (the pusing2 one) tongue.gif.actually i always avoid hi speed cornering.only once in a while.(because wife doesnt like it lol).if u ask me, forte is good during cornering..i know for some people, 110km/h is nothing.

today went for a test drive for new 1.6 6speed , to my surprise, the car feels very light, compare to previous 4 speed. the paddle shift is fun, just some short distance sprint and some paddle shift and some brake bahaya.

not bad at all. Tested forte right after i came out from proton showroom, the inspira 1.8 pale in comparison. this is what i think, no flaming pls.

inspira= bigger cc 1.8, bigger semi bucket seat, bigger rear seat.

forte= paddle shift, 6 cd changer, auto aircon, auto headlight, side mirror folding, bigger boot, map light and cosmetic light for both front.
Passenger would love inspira more, since its really bigger interior, more leg room, but boot smaller.

but driver will appreciate forte. especially with all the bells and whistles. so many things to impress ppl. definitely bang for buck.

now i'm not sure which to choose, 2 liter? or 1.6 ? since 1.6 with 6 speed is powerful enough.

and everyone is going green, 2 liter sure hurts my wallet a lot and petrol will only going upward in future.

so guys, 1.6 or 2? though i have to say, 2 liter is a little pricey too tongue.gif
*
since u said 1.6 is already ok..1.6 la bro.. tongue.gif
