1) Kurnia Insurance - she not recommend me to take bcoz a little bit pricey
2) UniAsia - RM1700 for Comprehensive
3) Axxa (Avva not sure which one  laugh.gif ) - rm 1350 Comprehensive

tomorrow will survey takuful & etiqa from maybank... sweat.gif

unless they quote on different market value.

what is sum insured that you ask?

AXA is from affin bank

i've ask AIA, roughly rm1750 (including windscreen insured at 1.2K + roadtax). sum insured at 66K.

hey forte ppl, NAZA KIA had is trying to run away from taking responsibilities from their warranty and poor workmanship.

I complained to them 3 times already...some they reply halfway, and the last 1 tak layan langsung...

yup.defect part..what is the use 5 years warranty if they dont even have heart to fullfill it.

5 years for us to keep on going to their service centre and get slaughtered?

i'm starting to doubt if i should keep my 5 years warranty..or go to mr. FOo for service

dashboard, the cracks started from the radio mounting..please check ur mountings...if the radio is inserted too tightly , cracks will be visible whitin 1 year or months, as the dashboard materials starts to give way.

hmmmm.. something to cool down some heated debate around here..

DTE before

Attached Image

KM Traveled with 90KM DTE (ignore the tank needle as pic is taken during refuel)

Attached Image

FC (Odometer)

Manual Calculation (refuel 42L full tank)

604KM / 42L = 14.4KM/L

or

100 / 14.4KM/L = 6.9L/100KM

DTE After (next refuel)

Attached Image

Route:
Pandan Indah -> Sg Buloh -> Kamunting -> Kepala Batas -> Alor Setar -> Kepala Batas (80% Highway; speed 110 ~ 120KM/H)
Kepala Batas + Alor Setar city drive (20%)

Traveled with 5 adults (3 male + 2 female) + boot full of luggage.

Guys. I'm back from Puchong SC. Handed the car key at 10.25am, and received the key back at 4.00pm. And I spent my whole day at the SC.

You guys want to know what kind of item they change that took them so long to repair my Forte?

Just a set of the goddamn spark plugs. And my Forte is good to go.

doh.gif Heard from the Service Rep. saying that my spark plugs (I've sent my Forte for 30k servicing 3 days ago) got dent due to manufacturer defect (or maybe d technician dropped my spark plugs and simply sumbat w/o checking) , so explain the loss of power and jerking.

I mean, how careless they can be to use defected spareparts on ur car? It can cause serious damage for godsake!
*
the total time spent is overall checking. i bet they did not suspect spark plug as the main issue since it's new.
glad to hear your problem has been fixed.

*
same lar.. wind noise.. some claim only at 110km/h, some claim 90km/h, some claim only at high speed ie 130km/h...

guys i got a silly question.... when i test d car, the radio reception vry poor... is it true?
and how much is the service for 1st 2nd n 3rd? i heard is 200+ including labour frm the salesgal...
i heard frm fren said the labour is free... so which is true?
frm dis forum i read alot of bad abt the SC is it better service at outside?
thanks for replying ^^

1) when i test d car, the radio reception vry poor... is it true? --> True. not the best. but if play MP3/CD marvelous!! superb!! speechless!!
2) i heard frm fren said the labour is free... so which is true? --> both also true, including labor charge at rm0 (which is free)
3) frm dis forum i read alot of bad abt the SC is it better service at outside? --> sad to say it's quite true. but only certain SC with bad service. personally i already service outside not because of the bad service, but because of cost.

ya...so many things...i think is VG...
when it came, is empty inside(only 1 wire for antenna reception, no boards for electronic or wateva...empty..

yes, the whole ECU...have to reprogram it or change whole ECU(better change than reprogram)
coz ur ECU wun recognize the 6 spd and the gear ratio....will corrupt the whole ECU reading...then ur GB bcoz siao d..
*
sure or not it's VG? what i know VG is bulky than yours and no need to replace the existing antenna base. just stick on top of it.

VG = VisualGarage from Canada

http://www.visualgarage.com/

commonly we call this kind of antenna as sharkfin/dolphin antenna.
when we call it sharkfin VG means from visual garage product one.
