Guys. I'm back from Puchong SC. Handed the car key at 10.25am, and received the key back at 4.00pm. And I spent my whole day at the SC.

So many complains for after sale service.. I would rather service my car outside if i got my car.

But if i'm not wrong, once forte are fully manufactured in msia, the price will definitely drag a big gap with our imported price. Just like Hyundai Getz, it was selling around 90k for fully import but now....? Scary man.. And the changes in quality too..

i m planning to change to 6spd and ECU after may 2012...trash the 4 spd...hehehe

he'll threat u nicely... my 10k service completed in 2 hours...
service outside... trust me...
and what happen to inspira when tg malim can produced themselves? cut the price half too?
but if drag a big gap (RM50k) for forte, i'll buy another one for my wife... worth buying...

You guys want to know what kind of item they change that took them so long to repair my Forte?

Just a set of the goddamn spark plugs. And my Forte is good to go.

Heard from the Service Rep. saying that my spark plugs (I've sent my Forte for 30k servicing 3 days ago) got dent due to manufacturer defect (or maybe d technician dropped my spark plugs and simply sumbat w/o checking) , so explain the loss of power and jerking.

I mean, how careless they can be to use defected spareparts on ur car? It can cause serious damage for godsake!

Oh one more thing..When I'm travelling around 90 to 100kmph..I can hear a "wiiiiiiiiiii" sound from my driver side side mirror...but when I press my side mirror downwards while driving.. the sound will disappear..my guess is the side mirror is out of position already.. anyone facing this issue?

same lar.. wind noise.. some claim only at 110km/h, some claim 90km/h, some claim only at high speed ie 130km/h...
i also dunno which one is correct.

But it's only at the driver side mirror only..so I think this can be rectified..I'll send to the Glenmarie new service centre when it opens..my salesman will be there haha

Oh yeah taipan..what fuel Yr using? Bhp 95?

even though they put it that way, by the time u get ur car, sure 100% OK 1....mayb they will repaint(if ur car paint currently faded), dirts(sands as quoted) will b vacuumed, and disc brakes will be restored while u start driving for few days(perhaps hours??) coz they made a promise 2 u that the car will deliver 2u nice and sound...

as 4 my matter, jerking issue, still nt yet solve, as i juz serviced my car juz now...wonder wat problem causes it. the new FSEO(Full Synthetic Engine Oil) is much more better than the previous mobil FSEO..(heard that mobil FSEO used in kancil/myvi 1)...from my dad's mechanic. The seat problem will let SC solved later, as i need 2 use the car.

YIPEE!!!! Finally installed Shark Fin Antenna!!! Looks like 'BMW' now...hehe

after SC technical did the mod to the sharking(wiring), it seems reception better wor....however, he ald warn me, there's 1 channel, which the signal is very poor after installed shark fin....a chinese language channel...forget wat channel d...

and how much is the service for 1st 2nd n 3rd? i heard is 200+ including labour frm the salesgal...
i heard frm fren said the labour is free... so which is true?

personally i already service outside not because of the bad service, but because of cost.

there's 1 SC in JB told me now all forte is parts by parts import in to MY and assemble but KL SC told me only 4 doors assemble in MY, the rest all fully import..who is tell the truth?

1) when i test d car, the radio reception vry poor... is it true? --> True. not the best. but if play MP3/CD marvelous!! superb!! speechless!!

brother Xion, how much and where you get the sharkfin antenna... i wanna get one too.......  

I also did install working sharkfin antenna with wiring...but it seem the signal degrade a bit la...b4 no noise, now got a bit noise for certain area for most channel...

anyway it look cool enough...
