QUOTE(all blacks @ Oct 22 2010, 03:07 AM)
1 whole match n we only had 1 or 2 decent attempts  doh.gif !!! The only ting I realize while watching the game is, we kept losing possession and most of the time is because poor ball control, I was wandering if all the sub/reserve players forgot how to control the ball doh.gif .. Passing especially during 1-2 or 1 -2 - 3 was horrible sweat.gif ! N players r not making the runs, juz pass n standing there  shakehead.gif !

However I notice a small improvement, no more CHIN rubbing by RH tongue.gif !!! RH got pissed off shocking.gif  n RH got something new to do, biting the nails!!! thumbup.gif

I am really not sure whr the club is heading wif RH as the manager.... Even UEFA cup seems to be in doubt if RH is still in charge, I wouldn't be surprise if we were knocked out of the tourney! Draw, so RH chances of staying juz droped! If game in Anfield the team couldn't perform n get a decent results  unsure.gif .... RH BYE BYE!!!

Feedbacks from the game in short:
+ve
1. Shelvey looks promising, making visionary passes, ambitious attempts, Alonso in the making??
2. The team drew! (good or bad, it's up to u)
3. Kelly and Skertl looks good at the back.
4. Ngog is improving in his ball control.
5. Better display of performance compared to the weekend's derby game.

-ve
1. Losing possession EASILY
2. Ball control is poor
3. Passing movement is poor, the flank players was literally standing there when they pass to the center and not making any run for a 1-2 attempt shakehead.gif
4. Poulsen, Spearing, Babel and Konchesky had a so so game.
5. Back passing to own half for most of the time, playing with a very very very very safe mindset!

since we are playing away and on the back of 2 domestic defeat, u could say tat we were EARNED a point instead of 2 points dropped

moreover, most of them are second stringers

lets play for a WIN this weekend,

i hope this weekend First11 will hav better ball control and Confidence when they meet the opponent.

anything but defeat is a plus. while it disguise the nature of the point. parking a bus at goalline can still earn a point, attacking for 89minutes, hitting the woodwork numerous times but end level scores can also earn a point.

we are force to send 'second stringers' to napoli cause RH knows he CANNOT lose another LFc game, esp 3rd consecutive lost in league game. it could mean the worse sequence of loses by a LFC manager, ever.

The second stringers looks good, to be fair. usual problem upfront.. not much feed to the striker, lone striker sumore...

Kelly should start.. and johnson play right wing, this weekend. johnson at right back.. is too much attacking way too much.

RH could pinch his ex fulham players to prove his methods? (oh wait maybe to him mid table shd be better then just above WH now)

if this weekend we ever, end up behind WH in standings (god forbid), i pray to pro RH fans please, please, plese wake up, your fav manager is causing us big heartache. Don't be delusional, we ain't. torres, agger ain't. i don't know about the english players, i hope they realise that its still better to have a foreign manager who tactically are miles better than uncle woy.

Tell you what. Although we didn't create much, I think we played decent football especially if you take the crap we've been dishing out in the Premiership. Shelvey I felt did a good job of supporting N'Gog whilst our men in the middle played a little farther up the park. On the defensive end, we played well as a unit with players helping one another out to snuff out threats. Not world class football by any stretch of the imagination but a decent overall team performance.

On a darker note, does anyone have any coverage of the stabbings prior to the game?

I dunno whether to be happy for you guys that liverpool got the draw and played more decently than in previous games or be sad that liverpool played better without many of your key senior players.

Perhaps Roy will now deploy Ngog and Shelvey while Torres and Gerard warm the bench blink.gif

the draw mentality worked! If without Torres n Stevie we can draw with Napoli, we can win Blackburn this weekend!

Hope Shelvey gets more chances to have a go after this - correct me if I'm wrong but I don't recall him starting or even subbing in for any of the EPL games yet.

A little harsh mates. If you put things in context it was a decent performance considering we played against arguably the toughest team in our group away, with our reserves.

I told myself I'd skip this match but I just couldn't bring myself to abandon my Reds. Sure they don't know that I was watching but I know.

No disrespect to any teams. but Napoli were shite as well. They were giving far too much respect for Liverpool, & more like they respected our reputation in Europe so much so that they neutralized they own offensive game rather than playing the team that was out there. If they had a go like Everton or Blackpool we'd be thoroughly beaten. Napoli of Europa League was a far cry from Napoli of Serie A last night.

So much for me for boycotting any Liverpool matches. Ended up watching the boys anyway laugh.gif Shelvey looks the part seriously he needs to playing in the first team rather than the reserves

sorry duke. just can't bare to watch them draw and lose.
during the rafa days, there was some of us who complained about how rafa is normally content with 1 - nil wins.... etc.

it seems now Roy, is content with draws or loses not more then 2 - 0.
I really don't Roy is the person who can bring back the glory days.

just to share...

i thought i'm not going to watch it until my friend ask me out for late supper....then reach home at 1.10 am....open the tv and watch it...

at first want to watch the game until half time...finally watch it until the match end...hahaha.........

my opinion :

RH please proof yourself until the 10th game....if you dont, please resign as gentlemen....even though there is no torres and gerrard, but a good manager can motivate his team to play well...even though that alien konchesky clear off the line...but he is outplayed and dont go down when we need him to defend........

I'm sure those kop miss the match do no lose anything....in fact nothing much we can see the improvement........

like man u fan tease us on our jersey - standard kampung in fact kampung boys can play better than us againts naples...

YNWA !!! Anyone who still support RH, just watch yesterday match...then you know how good he is.........
