Nah, i am just bored. Apparently one of my actress friend in Malaysia went for the audition as Tun Teja's voice which I thought she was joking. Now I connect the dots after I read this news.

No wonder. She said the project was delayed because Malaysia govt wanted more local content, they felt the original draft is too Japanese for their liking.

from the storyboard it looks like Naruto
each character has their own mystic beast
there are floating island, and battle with sea dragon

No idea. She said almost all of her friends in same profession was auditioned for the role. They were looking for a young, dynamic female lead to voice the character. She also know the people behind the projects, confirmed the story where Putrajaya is not happy with original draft so many changes were made. Her exact words "Not Malay enough".

My friend was an up and coming actress, she and her friends came from a certain famous university college Performing Arts and Media Faculty to audition for this role. I am sorry being obscure but it was her request to keep it anonymous.
