1) You mentioned in your threads that pyramid filter with oil cup is recommended but the Fotile 9000 series are not the pyramid type. Just wondering if they pyramid type is already out-of-date.

2) The EMS9016 suction comes from the top so I assumed that it works good in sucking in both smoke & smell. I'm wondering if the JQG9009S works as well in sucking in smell since it's positioned diagonally.
