Task managers are not just to kill apps, you can set it to manual and kill apps only when you have to with it. I mainly use it to make sure the apps I need to be up 24-7 stays active in the background without getting killed should memory run low. It also helps manage apps like making my music player the default one for remote activation rather than the built in one. Forget killing apps, there are other useful functions of a task manager
