I suppose those people who rushed down to buy the QanT won't be too pleased.

It is the matter of timing imho. I betcha most of the gunpla they sold at the expo will be much cheaper again during the warehouse sales.

Naughty Litt Tak, naughty.

Probably because you kept harping at it non stop at every single opportunity laugh.gif

It IS overpriced, but the same can be said for like 90% of all non-essential goods nowadays. Heck, the missus bought a watch that cost 5 times as much as the PG SF last weekend and honestly, to me it is still a piece of crappy err... time keeping thing. To each his own. Tak suka jangan beli. Nanti kena tuduh sour grapes kot.

QUOTE(Parody @ Dec 2 2010, 03:10 AM)
That's an exaggeration. I did mention the shoulder hatch and the gold (stickers?) on the Dragoons look nice and so is the boxart. And i never complained about how the wings don't spread evenly because i honestly believe it's due to some locking mechanism to hold the wings in position due to its weight.

So what now? If you like it, you're allowed to express it but if you don't, you're not allowed to?

Someone over at MechaTalk called it Pricey Garbage (PG), and although one or two disagreed, no one bashed him or called him a cuckoo. I guess that's the difference between a forum frequented by westerners and a forum frequented by easterners.

*
No one's bashing you dude. If anything, you're the one doing the bashing on the PG. At first it was fine, everyone's entitled to his/her own opinion but eventually it did start to grate. Kept my peace until last night, but come on, if you do not like it then there is no need to tell everyone everytime that you do not. Did anyone even call you a cuckoo? I am calling you a repetitive broken record whistling.gif i.e. complaining not about your opinions but your constant need to state it again and again. Oh, dang, now I am repeating myself.

And yes, it is an exaggeration, but ask anyone who frequents this thread, to a person they will know that you have repeatedly complained about this PG. We all know where you stand. Let it rest.

Well, at the price that they are asking for, i would have settled for no dragoon gimmicks but a fully plated gold frame - at least for all the visible parts.

AB-ing shiny gold is actually a pain in the arse if you ask me... putty, sanding primer, sanding again, black, silver then clear gold IS a lot of steps. Me lazy. And PG frames have A LOT of parts sad.gif

naah... tak masuk compy but still want shinny bling bling look. Me memang like that one... want it to look nice but then complain about banyak kerja nak buat laugh.gif In the end I will do the required steps, and then complain about it again doh.gif

as for gimmicks, since methinks most of us here do not actually play with our completed gunpla, i think it is a waste of engineering/design time. How many will actually 'pop' those dragoons out repeatedly anyways?

Where's the fun in paying someone to make your gunpla for you???? shocking.gif

The 'shiok' part for most of us is not in the owning but in the building imho. I might grumble a lot about sanding etc, but deep down, if i did not enjoy it, I won't be building gunplas at all.

Buy figurines and those ready made GFX (is this what they are called?) much easier lor if like that. Some of those made out of metal somemore right?

Mebbe old news but...

http://blog.goo.ne.jp/yshobbyblog/e/6f53c8...a7b47381f2428ce

Do the 'wings' really look like that when the dragoons are launched? The pose in the second photo is nice though... much better than the 'at the ready' pose of the older PGs.
