QUOTE(Jet23sky @ Dec 2 2010, 09:27 AM) Whether like or "dont like" the PG Strike Freedom is just mystery, and we only know about the baseline and features in it. We haven't actually seen the exact one yet. Everything must wait for the release and review, then we can only know whether it is worth it or not. Who knows, maybe the problem of the joint which the 1/100mg SF has will be fixed in PG? We haven't actually known about this yet. Everything is just based on picture. It is true that I might be dissapointed with the fact that with that kind of price, it does not come with goal plated, but hey, for us who use airbrush so often, is it tough for us to make it gold plated? no right? Whether you want to make it "gold shining" or not really up to you capability. I'm sure those who use airbrush is a piece a cake for u all actually, i mentioned before.. people who want to re-paint the frame will find the plating a bad thing cos they would have to strip the plating before they can paint.. it people who don't wanna change the frame color who will benefit most from a 100% plated frame and also people who don't wanna paint and claim that paint is exp bla bla bla even after they've spent close to 1k on a kit.

Well, at the price that they are asking for, i would have settled for no dragoon gimmicks but a fully plated gold frame - at least for all the visible parts. AB-ing shiny gold is actually a pain in the arse if you ask me... putty, sanding primer, sanding again, black, silver then clear gold IS a lot of steps. Me lazy. And PG frames have A LOT of parts This post has been edited by madmoz: Dec 2 2010, 09:41 AM

naah... tak masuk compy but still want shinny bling bling look. Me memang like that one... want it to look nice but then complain about banyak kerja nak buat In the end I will do the required steps, and then complain about it again as for gimmicks, since methinks most of us here do not actually play with our completed gunpla, i think it is a waste of engineering/design time. How many will actually 'pop' those dragoons out repeatedly anyways?

I only pose my pg red frame on first week after completion, and for taking picture. after that been standing straight on my desk until now... and also, must prevent those small kid from touching my upcoming SF and make sure they never get a chance to keep poping those dragoon and bring one home!!! No use to get it early, but will only assemble it after months later

IMO : if you already spend almost rm1K for a plastic model kit so why not you try make the best effort for your own kit to make it shine or not it will be a waste of $$. anyway looks like the BAKWC 2010 Singapore even have more impressive entry. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « http://forum.zerogunz.com/viewtopic.php?f=...=190079#p190079This post has been edited by chriswoo: Dec 2 2010, 10:17 AM

Where's the fun in paying someone to make your gunpla for you???? The 'shiok' part for most of us is not in the owning but in the building imho. I might grumble a lot about sanding etc, but deep down, if i did not enjoy it, I won't be building gunplas at all. Buy figurines and those ready made GFX (is this what they are called?) much easier lor if like that. Some of those made out of metal somemore right? Mebbe old news but... http://blog.goo.ne.jp/yshobbyblog/e/6f53c8...a7b47381f2428ceDo the 'wings' really look like that when the dragoons are launched? The pose in the second photo is nice though... much better than the 'at the ready' pose of the older PGs. This post has been edited by madmoz: Dec 2 2010, 10:49 AM
