no... not hdd corrupt, it could be my istake as well though but last time i create 2 more partition and thats a total of 6 partition, recovery, windows reserved, c , d, e,f and that was the limit i could create, after using the dual boot feature with linux, i combine the partition using the minitool partition wizard and restart, voiala! d,e,f were combined and automatically turned into free space inside the disk management

hurm, that was last month de, i dont know that basic partition type only could hold 4 partition only but before that it was ok though, no problem. these days im beginning to get lazy as i need to go to the service center again to fix this laptop's recovery partition as their dvd got some problem, i dunno if i should use the new system after the recovery or use the current one cos i really do hate to resetup the whole laptop again. those settings r the most precious to me.

considering the launch manager switch is always at center, some performance degraded like 'deadlock' issues somehow is like been occuring to me lately, like yesterday, windows not responding and firefox keep crashing to a certain site but theres no problem like this before.

maybe i just stick to the current system until the service center really fixed my recovery partition

i do know what im doing de... only didnt expect to have that data lost de, nvm about that, i got pretty much almost everything back except the music and some animes that i downloaded

only the recovery partition still havent repaired by them, i could use them but had to rely on acer erecovery management software thats installed by default then able to do the recovery, cant use the stand alone one

@CWG, wanna ask about the event viewer, i cant detect if i connect my external hdd, how?

the event viewer lists most of the activities that is logged within windows, i cant find the event id for the external usb hdd but able to find one for pendrive
