Im expecting twins this June.

Anyone have experienced with KPJ Tawakal?
How much roughly for c-sect?

Monthly checkup with Dr Jaafar, suggested by my cousins biggrin.gif

Congrats. I will suggest you to prepare for the large cost as twins is very costly in private hospital. Easily more than 10k. I had twins girl and I can tell you there is a lot of different risk. My suggestion is to also go to government hospital as a backup plan. Also depend on what is the pregnancy condition. If suspect going to have pre-mature delivery, don't even try private hospital unless you have deep pocket. Next thing to consider is, if your baby got jaundice after being born. Those UV therapy will cost a bomb again.

Private hospital is all about making money. Serious case will quickly be refer goverment hospital. Paying thousands and don't even feel safe. I know that many people feel private hospital is better but believe it is the other way round.

In you have constrain in budget can go straight to government hospital. Is as good as any private hospital. Putrajaya hospital is an execellent choice. Why want to pay more to go to private hospital. We pay tax to government is time to get the service

Mommy and BB is now fine. Just sharing my exp so that those who considering their options now will be aware.
Some nurses really nice but i would said majority of it are just wearing mask and treat u nicely. Some of them only are really nice to you from their heart. I bought some gift for those that i felt is nice since my son was in ICU during that time and i can see them really taking efforts to jaga my son.
That's the thing, what i heard is also 12 hours but the doctors overwrites everything right? She said 24 hours. Then after my son was delivered, he was diagnosed with antibiotic because he was exposed to infections due to water break for more than 24 hours. I really want to shout Wat the F ...

Given new born antibiotic is a bad thing. Might have side effect when they grow up. Is not recommended to give antibiotic until a child is 1 year. That will be the norm

Hi Sonerin, i hear Putrajaya need very early (5 months advance) booking for delivery baby. Is it true? Can you feed me more info cos I am considering Putrajaya too. For Putrajaya, where to do monthly checkup? Total delivery cost how much?
*
Yes need 5 months advance because they have lots of people. You can to their website to check out all the info in details. Once you are accepted there, you can choose the doctor. After the doctor you choose will be the one doing the monthly check up. Total cost of delivery for my twins is RM2800 as my wife opt for csec + epidural. Is a 1 bedroom for 3 days 2 nights. They will provide a reclining bed for husband as well. Is extremely cheap compare to any private hospital. If private hospital twins delivery will be more 10k.

It's too late and I was leave with no choice as I do not have any medical knowledge background. What had happened already happened, what I can do now is just pray for the blessing.

But do you mind to share with me what's the side effects that you may know of?  icon_question.gif

Your baby immunity will be weaken. So when during grow will easily fall sick. Also if serious case can cause liver problem.

Twins? Wow...Congra!  rclxms.gif

As it is need 5 months to do booking, what else if the delivery date comes earlier?

Means monthly body check up also do it in Putrajaya hospital? Because we had called Hospital Serdang, but they ask us to go for poliknilik for checkup. I thought all gov hospital is same case.

How you did the 1st time checkup in Putrajaya? Walk in or call for appointment? Weekend open?

Thanks a lots for your info.  biggrin.gif

Yes you can do monthly check up outside. What happen in my case is do check up for both outside and Putrajaya. Of course is better to do in Putrajaya as the doctor there is the one who will be doing the delivery. The check up however is week day only. The check up is by appointment only

Basically after you register for FPP then they will start to make appointment for you. First class service and charges is extremely cheap. Maybe just 20% what you pay in private hospital. If you don't want FPP I think total cost is just 200-330

yes, most the top doctors was from Government too, is just that the nurse patients ratio in government is high thats why you wont be getting the tender loving care as if you in private...

therefore paying extra in private will give you the tender loving care different
yeah yeah, mine is from assunta n dr liew as well..very passionate nurses and midwife
*
Perhaps you are right about the ratio. Just my experience with government hospital nurse is so much better compare to private hospital. SJMC and Sunway both gave me bad experience. Just feel frustrated when have to pay and get sub standard service

Well delivery of baby can be very cheap as some members had posted of less than few hundred ringgits. Is all personal choice. So choose wisely. This is one of the many cost to come until your child graduate

Not sure, I think the money spent just to buy an assurance that my wife will be treated with care, before, during and after deliver.

I know gov hospital are not bad actually but with 8 out of 10 experiences we heard, the services is really bad and you know la, pregnant women tend to be emotional more. Heard a few thing already paranoid so no choice la.

Even some of the mother/new mother who just delivered there tell my wife about the bad experiences in gov hospital with their first baby and that's why they went private for their second one. (Manage to make some new/old mother friends there haha)

My twins are delivered in gov hospital in KL. Is really excellent service. I can say for sure better than private hospital. The doctors are even greater

You need to go to normal klinik desa to get the little red book first. Then go straight to Putrajaya to register then only can select doctor. My wife is delivered by Dr. Hamidah. Excellent doctor for c-sec skill.

Is really not a necessity to go private hospital. Is just another choice. Government hospital is good as any private hospital. My wife delivernin putrajaya hospital and stay in single room. Is twins baby. I really like the nurse and service. Had been to Columbia before went to government hospital, I have to say government hospital so much better and very very cheap
