QUOTE(beelze_gpwk @ Jan 3 2012, 01:43 AM) u r looking for picture i taken? or picture of the camera with the adapter? haha... nice pics..where did you buy the quick change?and whats the function specifically?sorry noob question.. i would recommend u take on the quick change and not the other tube adapter... not worth to invest for the later in my opinion. but for the quick change definitely is very very useful. I use it often with CPL or UV filter and the result is great. i also tried with Macro conversion lens and wide angle conversion lens on the quick change adapter itself. here are some pics... u can check them in my flickr... search my username the.mono.eye shot with Macro conversion lens ![]() shot with wide angle conversion lens ![]() shot with Grad Filter (this is another option with those square filter, not the quick change. i borrow it from my fren, u can consider it) ![]() This is wif CPL, but not a very good example... i cant really find one at the moment... ![]() Added on January 22, 2012, 6:24 ammr davinyan...i tried to download the softwares at the first page but it seems the links are broken..could you send me the links for 2nd and 3rd link for quide and making bokeh2 effects?thanks.. QUOTE(beelze_gpwk @ Jan 22 2012, 08:33 AM) the quick change basically is allow you to use filter on your G12... there's an extra pieces attached to the front part of the lens, and that allows you to put in any type of screw-in filter to enhance your picture thanx..do you often take landscape pics? could you suggest what other accessories that i should add for my G12 such as additional lens or whatsoever cause i always love to take pics like a prohttp://www.lensmateonline.com/newsite/G10.html I bought it when I first bought my G12... been using for more than a year now... |

QUOTE(beelze_gpwk @ Jan 24 2012, 08:52 AM) i prefer take landscape... well, i think i have listed all the gears i'm using through the photo samples i shown above... haha....thank u.you had been a big help for giving me opinions my other gear is speedlite... well, not quite relevant to landscape though. you can consider ND filter if you want more freedom to control the light (G12 has 1 bulit in ND filter though), or you can consider using grad filter or big stopper for landscape... other filter you can look into will be those warming filter for sunset/sunrise shooting and etc... too much to list out... lol |

QUOTE(beelze_gpwk @ Feb 19 2012, 11:17 AM) to get bokeh effect/shallow depth of field, there are 2 possible way: thanks beelze... 1. use big aperture (F2.8 for instance) in order to focus only the subject closest to the camera while the rest of the background out of focus (bokeh) 2. control the distance between u n the subject. subject closer to u, easier to get bokeh background. this can b done by walk closer to the subject, or use telephoto lens... ![]() this pic taken with F4.5 but still hav the bokeh effect, bcos i zoom in telephoto... method 2 ![]() this pic is combination of method 1 and 2, F2.8 + close to subject. ![]() another example of bokeh background done by method 2... telephoto lens, F4.5 Of cos using macro mode is easier to get bokeh, bcos in that mode means u r getting close to the subject. u can try out with ur camera and u wil know wat i mean... |

guys..im thinking of buying a canon filter adapter 58mm + wide angle lens 58mm 0.45x and has a 68mm front threads for filter.
is that a good combination and would it cause vignetting? |
