welcome mengong,

Post ur photo work here or share ur experience...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i bought my G12 is rm1620 two month ago, the price might go up a bit already ? haha~ rm1710?

Ofcoz is G12 better(RM1620), if not just buy ur budget item(G11) which is as good as u can expected from G series camera...

best for travel camera, top5 of compact-pro camera, top5 of secondary camera from DSLR.

it worth every money u paid...

hi DerangedPreacher,

G10 is a good all around camera. since u own DSLR, why dun keep it as a secondary camera from DSLR?

When war coming is better u have a machine gun(DSLR) with powerful pistol(G10)...

u can try search in the forum 1st...and i think the guy gear51 is selling that gears (i guess). not every 58mm external lens can be mount...better double check b4 u buy it...but the 58mm filter is ok (as long as u put on the adapter)

Hotshoe: Buy from LYN (Not perfectly suit G12 so i m not recommand, a bit lossy and i have to put sticker at the bottom of hotshoe to add some thickness)

my adapter: Part A (58mm) + Part B (58-72mm) + any 72mm filter

i m try to explain the adapter things...

1. The adapter will have 2 pieces like mine.
2. you can just put on the Part A (middle part in my picture), but u cannot zoom, becoz it is too short.
3. When u add the second part of adapter (Part B), then u can zoom to max.
4. The Part B will have few versions, for mine is 58-72mm adapter (solve corner black when no zoom), for another is 58-58mm adapter (only different is got corner black when no zoom)
5. The best adapter is from Canon XXX (forget the name). Please check in the 1st post...(that adapter is small and flexible length when we zoom in and out)

ask any question u have...haha~

no, i use lightroom to reduce the EV of background, so the background look dark, and the flower color is original....
