How u take this shot with G11?
Using which mode what setting?

I have this problem as well... I've just browse through the canon dslr repair/service thread

they mentioned that to clean off a dust from a lense @ canon already cost rm120 @.@"

I think there's more dust in my camera than I initially thought there is :S









Am looking for a place to service my G10 as well...

Any recommendation?

How much it cost to replace??
I think it is possible to use software to map the dust n remove it during post processing rite? I nvr try before, but i think i read about it some where...

Have you tried asking Canon itself?

I went to their HQ @ Shah Alam, it's actually before the Subang Airport... and they told me to replace my G10 lens need 700 including service charge >.<

and the new G16 is coming out.. about RM 1,599 =.=

so to replace my lense is gonna cost about half of it =.=;;

they also told me they have a scheme for case like mine. They could help me apply for a G16 for the price of 1,299 =.=;; Still expensive though.. sigh..

I think it's really bad that dust can get in so easily x.x
