err..as far as i know, phones doesnt have international warranty, so anything happen, u'll have to travel back to SG..not too much problem if you're from JB i suppose

just called NCC to verify the additional 1 year warranty for pre-order set. The agent is not aware of this and in the system, the warranty end at 8 Nov 2011 since the extended warranty was not mentioned anywhere in the warranty card and nothing written on the receipt.. wondering how can we further confirm the extended warranty...

Added on October 19, 2010, 4:24 pmAfter reading through complaints in V7 and forums, i think problems that some people mention like the restart issue is pretty random. Happens to some but not everyone. Seems like i gotta go temple and pray before i pick up my ow N8. 

Order liao mah, actually should arrive today liao, but i will pick up this friday only, exam.

lol.another godlike phone user spotted.btw,using maxis 3g online prepaid.its 'impressively' slow!

LOL Maybe i use maxis bill till that amount then i wont pay bill and switch to other telco to punish them.

U mean credit limit? Nah, it will passs till reach the bill date. Mine is RM100 credit limit

Maxis really don't care one, the package quite scary.

My brother took the N8 from me, and he really have to configure because N8 keeps trying to go online. I took a look, and it's the facebook widget eating up his data.

He really angry because Maxis will charge him normal rate for data after quota.

Use the "Touch Site".
It's optimized for the touch based phones.
Please don't.

I thought Digi and maxis only overcharging. I'm victim for both Digi and Maxis =.=" dono why seem all telco in malaysia also like this. sad case.

Aluminum isn't Titanium. It will scratch, but color will remain. 

Sounds like all rich ppl here, dun care phone drop. I used to drop my N73 like, a few times a day until now still tough like batu, except got scratch. That phone now has the auto restart problem (old phone la, dun care, unless i can hard reset, but dunno how) gallery and music player cannot read the contents of memory card and can open from file manager only (guess have to format the card). My N95 never drop before.

Just came back from N8 hunting. It's Rm1580 here Arista set. Bintulu. Ready stock. Had to really fight the urge to get one just now. Hehe.

yup stock still not enough, next batch not yet confirm when, my ready stock also left last 2 units only.

Arista and zitron avaxx set is different. Arista is for corporate customer not direct to end user.

not many OUTRIGHT suppliers take N8 now
got also the COST is very high very near the RRP..
now waiting for AP price adjustment to mayb below 1.4k...
since this model just expansive to the n900 little bit only..

i get the 1.2k (1 year contract), then break the contract and pay the penalty (since they dont sell directly from the center in ipoh).

Phone price + penalty + 50 (deposit needed for new account lol).

Well, its worth the penalty if u pay it the first months cause maxis lay alot of trap. i remember emino post picture rm2xxx maxis bill.
