The unofficial gathering seems like the one that Nokia is gonna held in Berjaya Time Squere hotel? Whereby many brainstorming and new encounter towards the phone to be shared among all Nokia N8 users? This should be interesting.

I remember it was listed in the pre-order page for Nokia N8 previously:-
They call it a workshop. I don't have the link anymore. But I remember keeping the details of where the workshop to be held.

I think not... I think it's just only the workshop with sample phones with them. I don't think they are people selling.
We should ask and see whether their sales personnel are there to sell some of their units during their workshop session eh...

This means without the Camera Silent Application, there is no way the sound can go off?? Nokia did not enhance this issue? This should be highlighted.

If this is THE Malaysian Law. I interested to know whether the Syariah Law is being involved? As ridiculous as this may sound, they find Malaysians immature with handling cameras with "No sound"? Or they think that this will reduce stalking rate? 3rd party applications are everywhere to counter such acts in the book. To me, no point. I rather Nokia remain the camera settings as it is with APAC firmware instead.

I don't see it as a bug, it's a default settings in Nokia. U may change it.

Let's hope for some improvement in the next coming firmware updates. Fingers cross man...

Still shortage of stock, however u need to call up those Nokia Centres to book it. They are still selling at RRP. I got it from Jusco Maluri. Very friendly guy, once stock has arrived, he will call u and inform u to pick up. Cool... I just got mine today.
