i noticed that under low light, faint vertical lines are visible, especially when the screen background is white..
is it because of the screen protector or the screen itself??

anyone having same prob with their screens??
*
1st thing to do when u get your brand new Nokia N8 is to remove the sticker/screen protector at the camera hole. It effects the quality output of your photos

I'm using Garmin v5.05 for N8 as 5.06 is unable to be opened after installing.

What version of Garmin are you guys using? Is Papago available for N8?
*
Theoretically speaking most of the symbian ^1 apps/games are supported except a few due to some compatible issue.

But the maxis value 50 + data plan is still more expensive than digi smartplan 68 right? Over 12 months not very worth since N8 is selling at rm15xx now.
*
If your bills exceed RM50 ++ monthly its a good deal but if u cant of course its not a good deal.

huh the screen will get scratches ??
but if use screen protector u guys not say not so good meh
*
I got my phone immediately i bought a new screen protector already. Screen protector comes in many type so depend which suits you some are clear view, matte (anti finger print), privacy and etc
Imagine one day u accidentally put in your pocket with coins or keys bye bye screen got your personal signature there

The free screen protector is very thin and overtime it will peel off.

my N8 screen now just bare naked...  thumbup.gif

just use the mirror app the front camera give a nice clear view of my own face... far better then the 5800xm where got matte sp and i just sold nothin much different for a second hand although it's BRAND NEW... so buat apa susah susah jadi slave and soo misarable not fully exploit the potential.... tongue.gif

Added on October 22, 2010, 12:14 pm

but hor... do anyone notice.. once the sp is on it will be on till u sell off the phone.... anyone ever keep changing sp to ensure the screen always clear and clean?? and then hor... what the use of the sp to protect and keep the screen nice and scratch free but NEVER show that during your usage as the sp is ALWAYS ON?? ....  doh.gif
*
So screen protector also have characteristic to which suits you. I prefer clear SP . Some people finger sweat alot they get matte so wont prone to alot of fingerprints.
Once chosen it stays until it spoil or sold off

the graphic suck in garmin ....... and also the symbol problem ..... even my gf also rather use the ovi map than the garmin that I had installed for her .......
*
from my personal perspective POI and map is more important. I had face issue before outdated maps. The gps ask you to turn left into a wall. Somemore you know if you are lost you cant just stop and turn anytime you feel like hehe. Trial and error cost time and money end up late for event? tongue.gif So for me is garmin at the moment even with some bugs it still get me to my destination without problems

I prefer reliability then cosmetic
