hi,
i been selling several items in LYN, but mostly the buyer prefer COD, 8 of out 10 ,
may i know the reason? some time their cost of COD more expensive than postage, example, TOLL RM2(go and return), fuel RM4(assuming)+time.
compare with pos ekpress only RM3.
what is the reason?
anyone can lead me a clue?
tq

1. Buyers are afraid to be cheated because there are many con cases.

2. Most of buyer prefer to see real items with their eyes.

3. They do not know how to bank in and prefer to give cash (Normally youngsters)

4. Wanna meet the seller

It depend on the seller if seller wanna do COD or not. If both agrees to each other then no problems. If no agree to the terms and conditions then just bye bye.

If you want saved on cost, then you should tell your client to find you to collect and not go their place of choice.

Yes, agree with Strawberry.

Another reason, although quite a small possibility is that something might happen to the seller. As the seller is often mainly a one man/woman show, if he /she is sick, emergency or meet some accident, the transaction is therefore stuck.

Once I had purchase an action figure from a seller. Bank in the money and he promised to send tmr. However, no response and no item received after a few days. Thought I was conned. But managed to call the hp and family member mentioned that he met an accident and passed away on the day I bank in the money! Check the obituary and found out it is true.

Want to claim the item but feel like not appropriate time for it. 2 months later only I contact the family member and able to take the action figure.

sorry to say..
successful trade list for me doesn't show confidence towards the seller....
it merely a number....and i already check your successful trade list blush.gif
my advise is ask your customer to post a feedback in your thread....
it will surely bring more confidence for future buyer towards you nod.gif
and if you want to bring more confidence for your future buyer...
do post the real picture of the item....!!!
more detail about you as a seller...!!!
and please put in your avatar picture...!!!!! tongue.gif **maybe a picture of your self!!!

hehehehhehe...just a piece of advice!!!! thumbup.gif

people have their own comfort level when dealing online. i'm ok with online deal for less than RM200, more than that, it's COD.

im with this thumbup.gif

i go for cod , if it the first time i buy from the seller, get to know he/she better. Of course after that if the 1st impression is good i go for postal, is tiresome for me also need to travel then carried it back home.
