Usually if outdoor to bright I play with the EV value, or ISO settings only. Can get good pics like that. thumbup.gif

EV somehow increases the amount of light focused/taken in. It ranges from -2.0 to +2.0. Go for the positive and you can see a small preview. It is brighter.

EV = exposure compensation value, very useful when the subject is too bright/direct sunlight, derease the value to get better looking colors.

Here's a rough sample how my N8 screen show the difference:
Original File, if you view in PC, there is no layering, the colours blend well and smooth:

But on my N8, it looks something like this.....

Here is what it looks like on mine. Taken with a Samsung camera.

hi, my n8 always  connect  to  internet  using  wifi  la,  i  already  set  widget  offline  mode  and  wlan  scanning  off,  but  still  it  connect  to  my  home  wfi  automatically,  takut  drain  batt  faster  la.  anyone  can  help?

The main culprit here is the email widget. As someone advised me before, configure the email widget so it does less frequent checks. The rest of the widget can be set to "offline" mode from the Option menu.

I set my email widget to synchronize every 1 hour, tested it and noticed the wi-fi will remain disconnect. 1 hour later it connects to wi-fi, download email, and disconnect by itself.
