no no no... the red light is helping with the autofocus.... do not disable it... eyes see macam tak mungkin but camera sensor can see red light perfectly and use it for focus help....

Btw, N8 camera produce natural color unlike other phone camera thats abit over-saturated. With HDR from ip4, you get brighter color and thats not natural. lol and if u see my morning shot, that was probably natural color from N8. I didn't adjust anything.

I just now face some issue with auto focus just now, I give some light tap at the camera there, and it work already...dunno what happen also...

i think there setting too for vivid or other preference if u dont like the natural color...

Thx but now the problem is day scene also hard to focus success ..... Almost 8 of 10 shots also out focus ....

HDR in cameras are good... Take 3 pictures at different exposures and combine... Kewl... But c the software lo...

Try removing the camera cover as plastic on camera lens sure kacau the quality...

u need to see your setting. if u use automatic scene mode, it will focus in any scene except Macro, Portrait, landscape and other scene mode. Make sure u get your distance correctly. (and setting correctly). Check your flash setting also. and see your lens still have lens cover or not. Pull it off

same as what i said... u have to aim on items that have contrast different for it to get the accurate focus... but i think the N8 after >1m all will have fix focus liao what they call DOF focus setting... the autofocus only use for close up items where u need to change the profile to "closeup" macro mode...

turn around your phone, see the lens (or around it), if u still have the camera cover, pull it off
