Hi All,

I couldn't list address book records in SquirrelMail from LDAP. LDAP is working fine as I can list the records from ldapsearch. Following are the details of my server: -

. IMAP Server: uw-imap
. PHP: php-4.1.2-7.1.6
. Webserver: apache-1.3.19-5
. Platform: Redhat 7.1
. SquirrelMail version: 1.4.4-0.1.7.x

Kindly advice the additional information needed.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Arulthas.

Hi there.

This problem which you've described is a bit too general.

Did you install the plugin for squirrelmail to access ldap after all?

Please provide more details.

Cheers.

Hi again.

So, I assume, when you click on "Addresses" when composing an email, you don't get any of the users which are in LDAP, is that right?
Even if you press the list all button, nothing?

Cheers!

Hi there.
Previously it was working fine? And what have you done to the system prior to the occurrence of that weird problem? Did you install anything?
If it was not running since the start, probably there is ACL associated with LDAP that make SquirrelMail unable to access LDAP address book. There is a patch for squirrelmail for that.
1.4.4 might include the patch, but it might not too.
And also, php must be compiled with ldap support.

Check the error log of that web server and see if there's anything fishy there.

Cheers!

Hi kons,

The issue is resolved. It's due to php mismatch.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Arulthas.
