i test drive inspira today @ COE.

The proton handling is ok for comfort driving but not as sharp as gen2. The sound insulation and road noise quite quiet. Engine sound roaring still can hear but not that loud, but louder than forte.

The car pick up rather slow. You can't feel the pickup. There is lag when you press the pedal instantly @ gear 1. If you compare to civic/forte, you definitely can feel instant pick up.

The audio player is the drawback. The audio quality is terrible and worst than persona/gen2.

The 1.8L fabric look cheap for it's class. The aircond switch is total letdown almost identical to city/vios style. No soft glide.

The 2.0GT leather is PU leather. It's not real/full leather. PU leather do not last long and surface cool down period is slower than real leather.

So major service for this car is RM 1300 + RM 300 (CVT oil) = Rm 1600

Anybody knows what brand of tint is in the 2.0?

And also the front speaker size? Want to change to a 6 incher

but yet I am too looking to put a tint over this tint... don't know what long terms effects will be... 

how come the 1.8 is fastest that 2.0 ?

CVT means no torque converter lor... haiyooh.... but CVT transmission lost is between manual and conventional torque converter auto.

with only 22Nm difference in the engine torque on crank, there's no doubt that the transmission lost in a CVT can be easily outperformed by a manual.

nissan's cvt has torque convertor..that what they use on the murano, slyphy, etc ...most other carmakers cvt does not have torque convertor..mitsu cvt does not have torque convertor...nor does altis, city, etc etc...

put simply, manual gearbox is the best & most efficient power wise...normal cvt or torque convertor auto gearbox are nowhere near manual gearbox performance...

DSG or twin clutch auto gearbox are effectively robotized manual gearbox, which offer best of both world, convinient, effency & performance...the is the best auto box around..

i test drive 2.0 yesterday. The gearbox feeling still the same as 1.8 inspira. I do not feel the oomph, the pickup is rather slow and sluggish. CVT gearbox a big no.
I wish proton could put in DSG gearbox to replace the CVT or back to conventional 5-speed super ECT gearbox

can tell them u want 2011 car when u do your booking ... it will state it ur waiting list ... as i know , u are allowed to delay it if u want 2011 car ...

No tweeters on the Inspira 2.0 as well. Like mentioned by drexchan, the wiring is ready, just need to find an aftermarket tweeter that fits. OEM Mistubishi Lancer tweeters going for something like USD70++..
