usually hydraulic powered steering gives better and more accurate feedback, while electric powered steering claimed to lower fuel consumption and improve performance.

and electric powered doesn't require maintenance, but pain in the ass (wallet) later to replace if.....

Nothing much to do to maintain the hydraulic system, anyway.

u just forget one thing. the EPS (electric power steering) is speed based sensored meaning that lower speed (KMH) will give lighter steering. but when the speed is higher (KMH), then the EPS will give heavier steering.

i am using this EPS... quite good and responsive and fuel saving (fuel consumption).

But you are unable to gauge the difference in term of fuel saving because you can have only either one installed to the car. Logic?

less energy loss as the 2.0CVT has a torque converter
*
CVT means no torque converter lor... haiyooh.... but CVT transmission lost is between manual and conventional torque converter auto.

with only 22Nm difference in the engine torque on crank, there's no doubt that the transmission lost in a CVT can be easily outperformed by a manual.

I asked my SA about the tweeter issue, he said its there and its a 6 way system, so that doubt cleared away too.

Did you hear anything from the tweeter housing? I didn't hear anything from it.

I pulled the cover down and there are only a pair of wire plus a socket.

It was a 1.8 CVT.

1:05": it's also the car that INSPIRED our very own Proton Wira.

1:16": with lots of expectation, this is the 8th generation model, and the INSPIRATION for the high performance, Evolution X.

2:20": So, is this model worths it of carrying the Lancer name, a name that INSPIRED character, and is still one of Mitsubishi's successful models?

3:00": Wow, just got some news that, Proton has renewed the cross-licensing and technology transfer agreement with Mitsubishi. So what can Malaysian expect? Well, we can expect that the second generation Waja, would be a rebadged 8th generation Mitsubishi Lancer.

3:27": This car belongs to the C class segment. Now, space is adequate, but I can't help but notice that this car has lots and lots of (knock knock knock), unattractive PLASTIC. (Sigh) Premium? Nah I don't think so.

The rest of it? Go watch it yourself.

1. Before Inspira is even officially confirmed by Proton, it's has been publicly mentioned back in June on a TV show. But it still surprised many, especially new owners of Lancer. Why? Because they have ignored anything that has to do with Proton.

2. Who was the guy who won the RM10,000 prize in naming the car? You watch Driven also eh? Sharizan deserves the prize!

3. Plastic! It's very obvious (known fact actually), those who complained about Inspira interior quality HAS NEVER DRIVEN a Lancer before. Now, go to any Mitsubishi showroom, scrutinize the car the same way you did in Proton showroom.
