I've just undervolt my x4 620 vcore from 1.3250v --> 1.200v, n increase the reference clock to 230Mhz. So, the total speed is 3.0Ghz. Run stress test n it was 59c on full load (using stock hsf). Been wondering, wat is the effect of undervolting? well if use the eqn V=IR, it shouldn't be a problem. but still curious here. maybe there is long term effect? so is it safe if i leave it just like dat? or set it back all to default? bcos dis jan will go back to U ordy. my bro always use dis pc though so lil bit scared if anything happen during im in U. btw if it already run prime without error, gaming will be okay?

QUOTE(fatalynx05 @ Dec 23 2010, 11:30 PM) for me if it pass the prime test for couple of hours consider 24/7 safe less volt mean less heat so it should be ok just make sure the temp dont hit above 62c ok thx. im using amd overdrive to set it all. but 1 thing dat really weird, when i play pes 2011, the gameplay speed just increasing. i dont noe wat seems to be the prob. i tested both stock speed n oc, when oc the gameplay quiet fast. its like u add more speed to the gameplay.

QUOTE(cloudwan @ Dec 24 2010, 10:55 AM) Errrr wish santa really looked like that How high do u intend to go + what cpu ur gonna oc? If the cpu in ur sig i believe it would do coz AcBel 510W is rated 450W continuous Just trying some light oc on my proc. will not increase in voltage though. rite nw running undervolt. QUOTE(cloudwan @ Dec 24 2010, 11:53 AM) worst-case scenario. Is it okay if i let HT Link & NB Frequemcy only @ 1.4ghz? This post has been edited by ketapang: Dec 24 2010, 11:40 AM

QUOTE(cloudwan @ Dec 24 2010, 12:43 PM) Then its a ok for me, only light oc Let the HTlink & CPU-NB frequency run as close as u can to their normal speed, if u want u can drop the HTlink speed but let the CPU-NB run close to its normal speed or oc it a bit Test shown that higher CPU-NB speed helps a bit in juicing performance from ur rams Oky noted. Just run Prime95 for 15 minutes. Freq = 3.05Ghz Vcore = 1.2v Temperature on idle (34c~35c), load (54c~55c). No error 4 now. But will run continuous 2 hours test after smbhyang jumaat. Ahh..cant wait if i own hyper 212+ next year. wan c the temp. drop.
