questions
-stock hsf?cool to touch?put too much tim?
-is cool and quiet on?even with cnq on,some core downclock to 4 multiplier,other 2 down to 11.is tht normal?
-more info on your mobo might be nice...bios version,mobo what revision

may be it is normal,imo...since long ago use stock hsf...my vendetta 2 idle on 40ish,load near 50ish...

all core active...juz sometime...worker 3 will act like tht,set nother timing,nother worker act like tht...not always d same worker late passing test

now at 6-9-8-20-27 1.65v 1066mhz.no error...any advice...POST error when timing 6-9-8-27-27 same volt at 1600 n 1333

u can always reseat ur hsf...put quality tim...how much did u put?u nid to clean d tim on d hsf n proc,cant use it again...d tim is pre applied on d hsf rite?

how come ur mobo rev 00...check cpu-z on mainboard tab,can also check what bios ur using...ur mobo i chech at gigabyte,already release lots of bios

tmpin points to nb also but vary with diff mobo...

warranty dont cover burned chipset...dont know bout g-byte tho...juz got my msi burned n no warranty gonna cover tht

Added on April 12, 2011, 12:45 amjuz updated my bios to fix memory instabilities,as say from a support forum....didnt change squat except for making the cpu multiplier to whole number...no more 12.5,13.5...just 12,13,14....biggest facepalm.jpg

since the onli difference is changing the casing...y dont u start from there...still running with the side panel close?

which remind me of someone from wc thread...he forgot to remove the protector for his water block and pnh selamba installed tht on top of the proc with the tim sandwiched in between....major doh.gif

a quickie....is it ok to bump the memory speed upward 1st then tighten the timing...encounter some memory issue rite now...nid to set the vdimm to 1.67v or it wont post with default setting 7-9-7-24...or hv to set fsb to 240 n memory multiplier to 6.66 n vdimm of 1.65v...both memory speed at 1600mhz

question time

i cant push my fsb past 2500mhz
i cant push my ram past 1820mhz(timing on auto tho)
but the fsb can be raised to 290...ram related?

been raising the vdimm and vimc to almost dangerous level but windows still cant boot and always bsod
