from what i read devs also say it's easier to develope iphone apps than symbian. more profitable for them too when they can put ads on their free version

better late than never. tats all i can say.

For those who compare other phones' hardware to iphone's than it's a fail.

It's obvious that iphone won the hearts of many because of it's apps store and seamless touch.

Nowadays, it's all about networking and customization!
Windows and Symbian are miles behind, that is why android can come close to rival iphone.

to be honest.. theres tons of phone which hardware specs defeat the iphone 4.. But what makes iphone can compete with others is because of the apps..

yup.. u can brag all u like about how amazing the hardware specs of other phone which clearly beats iphone 4.. but its all about entertainment..

you probably got bored by your phone seeing the same dull thing everyday.. not when u can get new apps everyday that can keep u entertain..

its also comes to the user personal taste.. some of em wants entertainment thus getting an iphone..

while some of em just want to do business related stuff or being professional like getting a Blackberry

every phone got their pros and cons.. so there is no such thing as the most powerful phone on the planet because personal preferences can differ among each other..

clearly WP7 will have more games
WP7=XBOX professional games devs n outside devs=Games
Apple=outside devs onli=half good games
android=internet flash mini games?

n if apple din come out wif tis soon,it wont be on top anymore.

Microsoft already mentioned that the Xbox live feature is just like a messenger for the Xbox live and keeping you up online with the server and your gaming community on the go. There are no plans to bring the console games with 1 to 1 experience in the device as you will need more processing power to run those processing intensive games. Only those mini games will be included when you've purchased an original Xbox games, or download from their server. And please, Big gaming company would shine on those graphical intensive, rpg, FPS, strategy etc console games. That does not mean on standard puzzle genre, they can do well to. Can they come up games as good as angry bird, mini squadron or even those popcap games? They are just simple games but, giving endless hours of enjoyment and fun. Lastly, before you mock andriod, look closer, andriod can play full flash games. Can windows 7? no, Windows have no plans on incorporate full flash feature, they will only do it later. And when they say later, it will be another wave of upgrade which users will have to wait. No hard feelings, just telling the truth which most users choose to ignore. Its too early to call wm7 winning the battle when there is no production models available in the market. All for now the KIN system (father of windows 7) is promising as it has shown on Kin one and Kin two.

with the gpu from old snapdragon, it's kinda hard to have a nice graphics for game(but the sims3 looks sleep in demo though)

please re-read my previous post that the snapdragon chip in most WP7 phones is not on par with iphone 4...
i believe it using Adreno 200 instead of Adreno 205 from new snapdragon chip in Desire HD and Desire Z..that means it using the same processor and gpu with Nexus One and Desire..you can look for the "graphic" benchmark at youtube by both phones..
thats why i said it's kinda hard to get good graphic game for Wp7 phones..(that's my opinion)

and about the rest of your statement,im not sure u 'bashing" WP7 or android or iphone

and 1 more: more features(like multitask,copy and paste,etc) are better than nothing dude...

no matter how supreme ANY phone is. it will boil down to user exprient. now that i am an ip4 user. i get ig why its too darn popular. ip4 is all about apps. those spec just make all the eyecandy sweeter! i think im getting eye diabetic XD

im not pro in chip,but i onli know even 3gs wif 667mhz is smooth enuff for good graphic game,n realli i din notice any faster in my ip4 srsly,maybe load app 0.3 sec faster?

TS, you could have read more on WP7 OS, to me it has even greater limitation than iOS which had started the war. I would say they are following iOS path, slowly allowing more features over time. For me, MS team works a lot like Apple last time, tight control on hardware and closed platform.
Open source? Only Android speaks.

At this infant stage, getting manufacturers to comply with hardware spec helps maintain the standard experience on the same OS. This move clearly is targeting Android which grows wilder on entry to hi-end devices, causing mix of experience on apps supported. Great move in keeping premium standard but low budget users will be omitted.

Software wise, like Apple iTunes, you can only sync with Zune. If you bash Apple for limitation, then MS has nowhere to hide in the same limitation. Android is much more customizable in this aspect.

Gaming wise, Apple has hands down win. Their device is meant for game especially with established support from big names, EA, Gameloft etc

However, they are very late, not only to iOS, but to Android and RIM BB. Despite hardware, I would rather ask, what aspect you are most impressed from MS WP7?

im not bashing apple entirely,im onli bashing ip4.
coz ip4 reach msia a lil bit late,where other phones tat on par or even more superior n even cheaper had be released,galaxy s,htc desire n the coming WP7s.
n i can onli say the ip4 itself is quite buggy.

n this explained my post,y still ip4 when there r cheaper,faster n less common choices out there.
everybody like special.
im quite regret myself for signing for ip4 coz it's buggy,thus sharing my idea here.y cant i bash my phone?

n the new UI of WP7 alone already attracted me deep enuff~
n it's potential is very very great?too.

Agreed. In US, Android now has become the main challenge for the iOS.

WP7 is really late in its release, costing Steve Ballmer half of his bonus. Pity him.

I see your point. You could sell yours and get something else than just mumbling. Android or BB could be best bet with established community here.

I would advise not jumping straight into MS stuff at least this year, They failed Kin project still haunts me. To me, the UI is the most attractive at first, but could get boring as I do not see it customizable. Still not sure if Samsung or HTC could skin it with TouchWiz or Sense. I like Sense very much.

WP7 certainly has potential but immediate impact is hardly felt. Like Zune player, very good hardware but I do not see it getting much popularity, even in US itself. Hate to tie to the Zune software for media transfer, but that is me though.

Side note, iPhones are best pair with iTunes for best experience, buying and renting contents are seamless and fuss-free. I guess you are not into Apple ecosystem, just pass and get something else. Good luck.

ok look,im not pro regarding of which chip is better or worst..but hey,there are many reviews about it and discuss deep inside the specs(with pictures,video,etc)
and ya,3gs has good graphic for the game and using the same as the gpu found in iphone 4..they both powered by PowerVR SGX535 which can handle better quality game..
and ask u,how fast you want your iphone 4 perform? 0.3sec not fast enough for u? or u want within or even below 0.0 second? talk with my hand then...


current iphone 4 specs is already better and can say as up-to-date specs..in the end, it's all up to OS
try look at galaxy s,monster specs but rubbish software and laggy from Samsung..so whats the point having better spec with laggy phone??

i tried WP7 1 month ago for just around 15minutes and i only know the animation(fade in and out) and the calendar looks better for me..that's it...
