strangely i've never had any bad experience with hsbc at all. everytime i asked for an upgrade in credit limit, it was given. recently, they upgraded my gold to platinum without me requesting. i also find their customer service to be better than other banks, they called back everytime they said they would their online message system also responds within 24 hours QUOTE(yhtan @ Oct 19 2010, 12:47 PM) hard to apply and hard to get reward and promotion no wonder my friend working as CC agent for HSBC got hit so bad  |

when you login to hsbc's online banking page, there's a left and right column. the left column is for access via the security device, the right column for access without. you can only view your accounts and perform certain transactions without the device. for others esp GIRO transactions, you need to use the security device. yes thats correct. initially i was confused too, called the direct access customer service to verify.
