GST will be charged on Nov statement.

redeem point AFTER the GST shows in statement.

For HSBC credit card, the credit card service tax will be charged a month after your credit card anniversary month.

Paid mine just about three months ago. I got a firm no when i tried to get them to pay for the credit card service tax for me  sweat.gif

If you are looking for a real generous bank, i guess you have to move your business to Standard Chartered  smile.gif

Do you have access to HSBC online ? If you have, you can redeem the RM50 service tax with 9,500 rewards points once the credit card tax appears in your card account transaction history page. This way you won't have to fork out your own RM50 first.
*
yup..i do have their online facilities..already redeem the RM50 GST, eventhough the service tax not yet charged to my CC...see how it goes from there... thumbup.gif

I think they would... better settle it.. you might get late payment charge too...

Added on November 23, 2010, 11:12 amSomething to share for ocbc titanium statement. I just know that 1% rebate is capped at RM20  sad.gif however the 5% is capped at Rm 100 until 31 Dec this year. Next year the rebate will be combined and capped at RM50. If you need to know which transaction entitle for 5% rebate, you have to call the customer service and ask them one by one like I did  sweat.gif Overall I am happy to use this card as I'm getting more rebate than my other cards.  smile.gif

HSBC gst will be charged 1 month after expiry date. if ur expiry is 09/14 then the gst will be on ur Oct statement, not Sept.

u should redeem gst50 AFTER it shows at ur statement. like me, i did pay full amount 1st (the last day of due date) then redeem gst50 (before next statement). so my next statement got rebate rm50 and extra rm50 will be deducted to next statement.

do u pay early? if yes, pls call HSBC helpline

He already redeemed the credit card tax last month ... before the actual credit card tax is billed. And since they have credited the credit card tax that he redeemed last month.
*
yup..i redeemed in advance...and have been calling their helpline..

so, my golden question is..do i need to pay for this or not??

i really a bit failed in this things actually... laugh.gif
