I have a citibank platinum cc.

Now Citibank mailed me another visa signature premiermiles.

Is this visa signature higher standard than platinum?

Do have two cards together or do I need to cancel the platinum one?

Is it worth? Is it ok?

If a call if what you are expecting and EON Bank isn't giving you then cancel the card. Simple.
I'm just pointing out that your expectations of receiving a call from the bank is rather incorrect. Just because they do it regularly doesn't mean it applies to all of their customers. Readers who read this thread may expect the same treatment and this we need to put this into the right perspective.

VISA Signature is of higher standard but this can be subjective depending on how the bank packages the privileges.
The PremierMiles has a different reward system and it is entirely geared towards conversion to Airline points. Citibank conventional reward system are exchangeable for goods. IMHO ... there's no tangible difference between the both beyond the point system.

You can keep both or cancel the Platinum card.

Thanks, but do you recommend me to take this visa signature cc?

Since it is a higher standard than platinum, may be it worth to change to this.

One more thing, i had no problem to waive my annual fee since 6 years I use the citibank cc, will this premier miles got problem to waive? how much should i spend?

IMHO you should only take the PremierMiles if you fly very frequently. Choosing the best credit card does not depend on the card's prestige but the reward/benefits you could get from it.

well.. it depends, when u pay with a higher prestige cc while paying, u will be more sort of "confident". (imagine all people at the queue take out VI/Plat while someone take out a piece of norm cc, in case u in the high class places) This kind of self-boasting, although not really good, but sometimes are just useful.

Although i agree with u that in reality benefits are more realistic, even u only have cash back silver card.. smile.gif

To be frank, I won't recommend you to get the SCB WMC as the benefit sucks. If you want a card from SCB, get the Business Platinum card instead. See the comparison below.

1. SCB WMC doesn't give any free access to airport lounges, while SCB Platinum gives unlimited access to KLIA Plaza Premium Lounge.
2. SCB WMC doesn't give complimentary travel insurance, but SCB Platinum does give a high premium of travel insurance.
3. SCB WMC gives 2x choice points for monthly spending of more than RM1,500, which equals to 1% cash back. SCB Business Platinum gives 0.5% cash back plus 1x choice point for any amount spent, which is also equivalent to 1% cash back.
4. For overseas transactions, SCB WMC only gives 2x choice points for monthly spending more than RM1,500, while SCB Platinum gives 3x choice points for any amount transacted in overseas.

As a smart consumer, you should know which card is better obviously.

Anyone here using Citibank PremierMiles card? Any interesting perks? I'm interested in credit cards which accumulate frequent flyers miles the fastest.

u need long times to get the first tickets..

but it is visa signature, higher than plat.

but if they charge me annual fee, i will cancel right away..
