Hi,

5 weeks ago I've applied OCBC Mastercard Titanium with pledging FD.

And today i called their hotline and was told that my application was not succesfull. My question is can i appeal for that application? Anyone here have an experience to appeal when unsuccesful before?

I was told by the CS that there is no such thing but she said i can write a letter to their Credit Processing Department.

Should i appeal or should i just withdraw all the FD and try with another banks?

Thanks smile.gif

My appeal for my application of OCBC Mastercard Titanium has been successful smile.gif

Last week thursday, my application status was not successful. So on Monday I had submitted an appeal letter to their credit proccesing department. Today, i called them up and they told me that my card is successful and will sent out to my house next week.

Quite happy since this is my 1st Credit Card application.

did u qualify for the requirement? eg. annual income 36k?

To be truth im not qualified. My salary is around RM2000 per month. Im not even submit my payslip since i dont have one. I applied the card by opening FD account and deposit a sum of RM5000. And i dont even have CCRIS record too.

What is the CL given?
U may choose to not answer, just to satisfy my curiosity.

The credit limit will follow ur FD amount. So in my case my credit limit would be RM5000 smile.gif

age is not a problem...i think just depend on ur earning...

Maybe u can try to appeal for the result. I did that and it's succesful. Just send them a simple letter. But u need to send it personally to their branch at Jalan tun Perak (Credit Processing Department).

OCBC Internet Banking now offers Astro payment via OCBC Titanium to get 5%+3% cash rebate.

Previously not listed ;-)

I got an email from OCBC saying that they offer me another 2% rebate for internet banking, thus make the rebate total 10% (5% titanium + 3% internet banking + 2% offer)

Anybody else in the same boat?

I think they would... better settle it.. you might get late payment charge too...

Added on November 23, 2010, 11:12 amSomething to share for ocbc titanium statement. I just know that 1% rebate is capped at RM20  sad.gif however the 5% is capped at Rm 100 until 31 Dec this year. Next year the rebate will be combined and capped at RM50. If you need to know which transaction entitle for 5% rebate, you have to call the customer service and ask them one by one like I did  sweat.gif Overall I am happy to use this card as I'm getting more rebate than my other cards.  smile.gif
