To EONBank GSC card users, have you encountered people who line up at the gsc eonbank concession counter and pretend that they don't know the counter is only for those with the card?

Had another experience yesterday and it's really annoying because they're slowing down the queue. After turning away a few customers without the card, the gsc staff announced loudly 'excuse me, this line is only for gsc eoncard users' yet some still try to talk their way out of it. I've seen the staff giving in a few times, fella had to go to another counter to register the purchase.

The problem is that you received the card 3 months ago. When the bank officer called you to verify, you did not reject the card on the spot. The bank might think you had accepted the card so that they activated the card for you.

I guess you would forever keep queit and keep the card if you did not see the RM50 service tax in your statement. Treat this as a lesson. Your ignorance gave you trouble. What you need to do is to inform the bank to cancel the card immediately. You still have a chance not to pay the service tax which has been charged.

What if he complain to BNM, will they entertain it? Just curious.

This happened all the time especially in GSC 1Utama... (Tropicana sometimes)
It's kinda annoying that i need to wait those ppl in line to slowly choose the seats, pay cash and walk away like every customer behind the line owe them...

usually i do last minute grab on the reservation seats after it's open 45 mins before the show starts, and there you go those ppl argue'ing with the counter staff to pay it by cash for 5 mins or so.

I did complain to the counter staff about it, they just smile... (And i'm showing my annoyed face)
i don't feel special at all having the GSC card.

Yeah it was at 1Utama. No such encounters at Tropicana so far, most probably because I seldom watch movies there.
I'm guessing it is even worse in Midvalley...

Just keep the card that rewards you the most.

How much rebate do you earn for purchases at BHP?
Do you always watch movie? How much can you save in a year?
CIMB Classic (Mastercard) offers 5-10% rebate at Giant/Tesco/Guardian/KFC on weekends, are you aware of this?
Do you have kids? If yes, you may consider dining at places where 'KIDS EAT FOR FREE'. If no kids, cut it.
Public Bank card, I don't find any special.

Can you even use CC at KFC nowadays? There's almost always something wrong with their terminal. Previously it was only paypass, now even the manual one doesn't work!
Anyone here managed to find a KFC that always has a working cc terminal? rclxub.gif

KFC Bahau, KFC (Jalan Tun Dr Ismail) Seremban, KFC Jalan Pudu, KFC Kota Damansara, KFC SS2.
This is the list of KFC outlets I ever patronized with successful swipe.
*
Quite a list, I was expecting just 1 or 2. biggrin.gif
I shall try the one at SS2 since it's the nearest.

CC-fail kfc outlets:
Taman Tun (the old one, not at Petronas)
Pusat Bdr Damansara
1Utama

Haven't eaten KFC since 2 -3 months I think.

BTW, did you use paypass?
The only time I got to use paypass was at NZ Natural @ The Curve. It didn't work the next time I tried though... doh.gif
Tried at Tesco Mutiara Dsara, failed. Giant Pusat Bdr Dsara, failed.

may i know which bank offer more benefit for ESSO petrol station?

This card I guess:
http://www.pbebank.com/en/en_content/perso...visa_em_gd.html

Someone posted a detailed calculation on the savings quite a few pages back, IIRC it's the best IF you spend a certain amount (500 I think?) on Petrol every month.

When applying for a CC, does a so called 'premium' address gives you any advantage?
Just curious, because my friend had 2 failed cc applications - He got zero credit rating and it was his first job, worked for half a year at least. I told him when I first applied I was in the same position as him except for the fact that I was not earning as much as him. Then he said 'maybe it's because of your address'. (He lives in a 'Kampung')

Have you guys tried buying anything from any Petronas Mesra outlets using cc? I buy my breakfast there almost daily and I'm really tempted to swipe even though the amount is below RM10. laugh.gif

From the CIMB Petronas card page it says:
QUOTE
2% Rebates - Enjoy 2% rebate* everytime you spend at PETRONAS Service stations and Mesra Outlets or get a 0.5% rebate on all other retail transactions

I tried once at the ttdi branch and the cashier told me I cannot use cc to pay for my RM6 or so purchase.

Hi guys, if I want to buy something online (product from oversea) and pay by credit card, which CC is best in terms of admin fee charges and rebate? Thanks!
