Probably this has been discussed before, but would like to know if I settle my EPP early, will there any penalty charge? My card is HSBC.

For HSBC, if u have instalment plan in your CC, don't ever pay earlier than closing day of the statement, not due date.

They will minus the advance payment from the instalment plan

Does it mean we have to wait for the statement to come out first, and only pay? Can't pay early?

is that true that HSBC can approve your card in just 2 working days?

For my case, it took around 3 weeks to get the card (submission, approval, courier).

Not sure about that. I applied it through an agent at shopping mall. That's my first credit card though, probably that's why it took 3 weeks to process everything.

Oh, forgot to mention one thing. I was supposed to submit my payslip the next day, but kept delaying it. So, that's why it took 3 weeks haha.
