Probably this has been discussed before, but would like to know if I settle my EPP early, will there any penalty charge? My card is HSBC.

QUOTE(wufei @ Nov 12 2010, 12:17 AM) For HSBC, if u have instalment plan in your CC, don't ever pay earlier than closing day of the statement, not due date. Does it mean we have to wait for the statement to come out first, and only pay? Can't pay early? They will minus the advance payment from the instalment plan |

Not sure about that. I applied it through an agent at shopping mall. That's my first credit card though, probably that's why it took 3 weeks to process everything.

Oh, forgot to mention one thing. I was supposed to submit my payslip the next day, but kept delaying it. So, that's why it took 3 weeks haha.
