Well, some reasons my friends gave were
1) Use for stretching
2) Use for 'on' hard to reach power point
3) Wack dog
4) Wack thieves
5) They wanna be like that Kick-Ass character
6) etc

But simple to say..most of my friends I go to test their system have one very close-by...probably they wanna wack me also..haha

got a lot stray dogs around my house, and some irresponsible neightbour let their dog out without "chain", there was a case where my kitten kena "ate" by these animals, so from then, i took a vow will kill any dogs seen near to my house... well, i've killed many so far...

what kind of house you staying ? condo ? the Stray dog should not reach ur dog wad coz u locked ur gate
wonder how they ate ur kitten ? use thier Looong tongue ?

AWG refers to the thickness of the wire. It should be stated in the cable specs. If not stated, then ask the seller.
