So whats the situation at klcc right now? My friend asked me to acompany him after work today. Hope its not as crowded and can secure at least 1 iphone 4

It's true, confirmed by Maxis themselves at #maxislistens. But bear in mind that Maxis customer service folks will lie to you about there being no such deal, or will only happen in January etc.

Anyway, I'll be going to KLCC at 12pm, hopefully can grab one quickly within my available lunch time. If not I can always go back Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, ha ha...

At, 9.30am, d counter not even start ops, after doing d head counting, d KLCC Maxis staff told d crowd there isn't enough allocation 4 everyone. Pls come early tomorrow.

150 limit for such a major roadshow??? When a lot of potential buyers like myself scrambling around MCs and was told to wait for this event & walk-in to grab the phone???

IMHO, this whole Maxis roadshow thingy is stupid.
What is the point organizing such event when the people are desperately trying to get 1 everywhere?
Why not just distribute the phones to MCs nationwide?
Now there is not even enough stocks for the event. What a shame.

Over here in Penang, stocks are zero. After hearing about 150 per day for such an event, was planning to go down. But then, no point as stocks depleting fast as well.

Damn this is getting ridiculous... don't these people need to work? Or are they really taking leave to buy a friggin' PHONE? Cause there can't be that many rich or retired folks who don't need to work

Oh well, hopefully they will have more allocations later today, or tomorrow.

as i mentioned earlier, it might be for taking registration or pre-book collect another day,weeks or months later.

agreed, that so stupid only 150 wanna do roadshows.. i guess maxis have alot to spend.

Update.. my friend in the line for iphone4 @ the Garden MC.. not many people.. just reached.. only wait for 2 more people.. he just drove from the disappointing KLCC sale.
