Anyone going on Saturday morning? i will be goin with my gf. Planning to reach there around 7.30am

If anyone else going there earlier than me, perhaps can update here. Because if i cannot get to be the 100 fellas i plan not to go at all. I am from PJ, travel all the way to KLCC for nothing is really "nothing better to do".

i got mine at Pavillion... actually i planned to go KLCC early this morning also but yesterday night friend celebration then slept quite late and can't get up early. Then this morning, kinda sienz d coz hunt for almost 1 week d... Then before i went up my office, i went over to Pavillion to try out my luck. Then i saw this lady CS(probably the head of CS there) sitting at the counter there, i asked her got stock for iPhone4? She looked at me for awhile relunctantly wanna tell me, but end up spill out that 12.30pm later will have stock!!! i was like OMFG!! then i went back again during lunch time.

Apparently the time was push back to 1.30pm, however since that lady already promised me 12.30pm, she called me over and whispered to me: "OK, i will process ur phone ONLY at this time, do not tell anyone coz it's suppose to be release at 1.30pm"

After i paid then i proceed to another counter for activation and this is when i saw some funny stuffs. Few ppl came in after me and asked about iPhone4 stock, and to my surprise those front line standing one all told them NO STOCK!! WTF? I mean is this thing so wrapped up only the those few in the branch wif authority will know about the stocks?? Then got this angmoh came in and same was told to her, but this angmoh looks angry coz she said this morning she called Maxis centre and was told got stock today in Pavillion. She insisted for some times and end up another guy came into the picture and told her later 3pm got stock. Come later.... I was like WTF again... some CS told customers 1.30pm, some 2pm and then 3pm.... wtf are they thinking? they thought everyone got all the time in the world to check things out every single farking hours of the day???

i must admit i got lucky today. I only hunt in Pavillion every morning for few days and voila~ got it...

to those still hunting... all the best folks... i'm off playing around wif my new toys now... hehe

contract... only got 16GB, which is enough for me anyway... my advise is... GO AGAIN AT 2pm~3pm!! seriously, the lady told me got 16 phones only... and if i'm the only one served by them today, then should have 15 more stocks... GOOD LUCK BRO!!!

But for outright purchases, will there be a contract for the prepaid number that I need to register? Can I just terminate the number within a few days/week an then convert my existing Maxis Postpaid to a micro-sim?

for a 12mth 16gb contract, RRP is RM2,290. iphone price is RM1,690. cancel 6 mths into contract.
termination fee is    [(2,290 - 1,690) x 6/12] + RM100 = RM400.

for 12mth 32gb, termination fee is RM450
for 24mth 16gb, 32gb, fee is RM775 for both

if his wife's number is under her name, then better bring her along. i told the cs i'm under my dad, and the cs knows my dad, yet he still insist i bring him along.... 

fyi, i just call cs, must bring account holder (owner) to sign up any package(purchase phone, sign contact) cannot authorized ppl to sign.
but u can authorized ppl for his name transfer u become the account holder(mean change his/her name(owner) to become u r the owner) then only sign up contact n purchase. ( photocopy ic n authorized letter n change owner form from maxis centre.)
need to ask u guys, i call cs but she tell me she don't know calculate. (WTF)
i planning to purchase ip4 with ivalue1(rm1690) contact 12month,
planning to terminate the contact after 2month due to i need to go overseas. so how much will maxis charge me or penalty me?

i think u gonna pay for the remaining months of your contract.. for eg, u still haf 10 mths to go (100x10). if every1 think to haf only d phone n cancel the contract after a few mths of usage, maxis won't earn anything frm it.. dun forget tat maxis subsidize d phone cz of your plan

i guess ur relative situation is different from those who haf sign up the ivalue plan for few mths n wanna cancel. cz ur relative straight away cancel on d spot. so maxis charge ur relative outright price for the ip4 plus cancellation fee due to ur relative causing them xtra time to do their registration, cancellation n etc  advise to buy outright straight lo.. else tie for 12/24 mths contract

will 32gb be too much?

I buy my iphone 4 primarily for playing Games, apps and music!! hehehe  . But i don't think of movies though.... 
so 32gb will be nice for me too i presumed? Sorry. First time buying an iphone. I don't know what to choose between 16gb and 32gb.
