Yeah because its your mistake buying without knowing. If you checked the card correctly for your device and the card doesnt work u can debate or argue.

If you bought wrong its your mistake furthermore its open the seller is unable to resell it. Will you buy a opened package memory card?

Just my opinion. Last time i bought a device even the company allows exchange policy he do not allow me to return because i accidentally damage the box.

It's not about exposed to the air or what. It's because you already opened the package. And the seller can't returned it back to the supplier. Solution here, just re-sell it back in the Garage Sale smile.gif

normal ram and SDHC are different...

normal ram have the plastic box, but still it sealed with label too, the ram may consider used condition once the seal broken...
but for in case u bought the wrong ram, shopper may still can "close one eye" as they still can resales it along with new & complete rig which the customer dont even notice that is used ram...

anyway, as heard one of forumer bought a HDD from one of the famous LYP shop...
guess what, the new HDD pre-installed WinXP by the shop, can you imagine? for u sure pissed as you witll think that consider used even thought with proper plastic box...

hence, i bought a PC hardware, and i inform the shopper via email that i will buy it... believe that is the last unit and shopper repack it into box before my arrival bcos the original seal broken and taped with usual tape... somemore full of finger print on the hardware, obviously that is display unit... doh.gif shopper should tell me that is last unit before sale... somemore the box's serial number doesnt match with hardware's serial number... vmad.gif pis$$ed and i never deal with dishonest shopper anymore...

so no need to talk much about damaged or torn packaging for memory card or pendrive even though no use before...

I can't imagine that there is still someone that surfing Lowyat.Net doesn't even know what HDD stand for.

Beside that, how is a lifetime warranty related to your mistake choosing the wrong card for your toy? You are trying to say that currently you use a camera that needed MicroSD, so you bought a MicroSD for it, then you change new camera that used SDHC, so you gonna bring your MicroSD back to the shop and told them you made a mistake buying the wrong memory card?

Seriously, you do not have common sense.

U open the seal right? The seal was opened means the thing is not brand new anymore.

Brand New means The items sealed have not been open before. Everything is in nice package.

Unless the box do not contain any sealed and just can re-pack same as it was 1st sent to u then the seller might consider returns.

even 10 years old kids also know to use google (Universal Dictionary)...
http://www.google.com.my/#hl=en&source=hp&...93f44b573f8ef9c
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hard_disk_drive

so dont ask us why HDD stand for "hard disk drive", go to ask google and PC manufacturer...

HDD and RAM is different as both items come with box for additional protection... but SDHC & Pendrive doesn't come with box... so can you return ur SDHC come with proper packaging? hence 99% of the pc shop wont accept torn packaging...

we just make it simple, if a shop owner selling u a torn packaging (opened) of SDHC same price with new unit, will you buy it?
